Author's POV

They end up in a hotel in Jochon-dong, a few kilometers away from Mt. Moaksan.

They get each other seperate rooms. After all, they're still strangers who happen to be falling with each other unconsciously. Tiffany was in her room, sitting on the bed. She opened her phone and saw a message from her aunt Dara.

From: Aunt Dara
"Take care, Tiffany. I love you and thank you for the phone call. It meant a lot to me. Goodnight, sweetie."

Her tears fall, she doesn't know why but maybe... just maybe she's ready for everything, though she will be "abducted by aliens".

She went out, having two beers in her hand and found her way to the terrace of the hotel. She saw Taeyeon leaning, smiling while looking down at the people having fun at the pool.

"Can't sleep?" She asked, causing the latter to feel another presence behind her. She handed the beer to Taeyeon.

"Yeah. Thanks" They opened it together.

"Last beer before the aliens take us?" Tiffany said while smiling to Taeyeon.

"Game" And they bump slightly their canned beer to each other and chugged down, savoring the taste of the beer. Bitter but at the same time, it gives them unexplainable satisfaction.

"Uuuuhhh. So good" Taeyeon groaned and spaced out.

"What are you thinking Tae?"

She snapped out and lean closer to the girl she's loving secretly. "I'm thinking... If the aliens will take us tomorrow, I'll miss out on a lot of things. I want to go to Disneyland. I'll miss out on that. I haven't even been in Jeju island." She chukled bitterly while Tiffany is chugging more beer.

"I haven't tried skydiving" Tiffany shared her dreams.

"Me? I want to sing and be an idol!" Taeyeon said, showing sparkle in her eyes.

"I haven't climbed Mt. Everest" Tiffany said.

"I wonder what it's like to get a tattoo" Taeyeon wonders. "They say it's painful."

Tiffany sighed deeply, letting  out her another dream, "I wonder what it's like to be in love" That made Taeyeon looked at her. "They say it's the best feeling in the world. But when you get hurt, it's also the most painful"

"I know" Taeyeon said while staring at Tiffany.

"You know what?" Tiffany caught her looking at her.

"That feeling... of overwhelming joy... of not wanting to lose her... of not wanting the moment to end. You feel most alive. You want to be near her." Her skin touches the skin of the latter. Taeyeon never took her look away from Tiffany, letting more their bare skin touched. "You want to kiss her" Her teary eyes moved down to her luscious yet inviting lips. "Just like this"

She leaned her face closer and closer until.....

Tiffany leans away slowly and looks on the other side. Taeyeon smiled sadly, she know that Tiffany felt the same, but respect her decision, understanding that she may not be ready. Though Taeyeon has no time left. She just kisses Tiffany's bare shoulder, letting it lingers in seconds.

Taeyeon wiped her tears and get back in her dorky mood. Scooting away lightly to Tiffany. "I'm good! I don't care if I don't ever go to Disneyland." She smiled genuinely while looking up in the sky while Tiffany looks at her.

She leans her head to Tiffany's shoulder, watching the sky above them. Tiffany was also doing the same as she leans her head on top of Taeyeon's.

After a while, they decided to go to their own rooms since they will wake up early tomorrow morning.
