Chapter Nine

Cooza looked at him, his hand covering his mouth in shock. Nobody moved or said a word, a long and awkward silence replacing the lively atmosphere there was just moments before. Sisco stared up at his pregnant boyfriend expectingly, a small smile on his lips as his hand tightened on the ring box.
"What do you say Cooza?" He asked, keeping his position.
"I-I... I- y-yes!" The small black-haired male cried, tears spilling down his cheeks. Sisco's smile widened as he took the ring from the box and slipped it on his new fiancé's hand, picking himself off the floor and pressing their lips together in a sweet kiss. The rest of the team around them erupted in applause, the two pulling away and looking at the rest of them.

That lively atmosphere returned, everybody in the dining hall talking, laughing, and enjoying the dinner Ang prepared for them. They all had a great time. That is what Cooza missed the most when he was taken, he missed making memories with his team. He looked down at the ring that rested on his hand, running his thumb across the gems and looking at Sisco. His new fiancé was talking about something with Chris, not that it concerned him. Sisco loves him, he wouldn't do anything to break the trust they both share.

Cooza looked down at his empty plate, not remembering finishing his food, and stood, taking care of the plate. He walked over to Sisco and stood on the tips of his toes to kiss his cheek.
"I'm gonna head back to our room. Try not to be long, 'kay?" Cooza said, rubbing his fiancé's arm slightly.
"Alright, but please have someone walk with you. I just got you back, I don't want to lose you again..." Sisco looked at him, general fear hiding behind his blue eyes. Cooza gave him a small, reassuring smile, hugging him tightly.
"I will, don't worry..." He pulled away from the embrace, finding Ang and struggling to give Sisco another kiss. The green-haired blader chuckled and leaned down a bit, kissing Cooza's lips softly before kissing his forehead.
"Love you Cooza..." Sisco said with a smile, straightening up.
"Love you too Sisco." Cooza smiled back at him before going to ask Ang if she could walk with him.

Sisco turned his attention back to Chris, blinking when he seen the look she was giving him.
"What?" He asked, slight hostility soaking his words. The smile Chris was giving him never faltered.
"You're a whole different guy when Cooza's around." She said, her hands folding together.
"So?"
"It's nice seeing a side of you where you're caring about someone rather than giving then an attitude."
"Cooza's my fiance, what do you expect?"
"You weren't really the nicest blader I've ever seen, it's different."
"Cooza is different. That's why I love him so much." Sisco watched his lover and Ang walk out of the dining hall, making him sigh. "I'd do anything for him..."

"Goodnight Ang! I'll see you at breakfast tomorrow." Cooza said, giving her a smile and waving. Ang waved back, smiling back at him
"Goodnight Cooza. I'll make sure Sisco doesn't take too long to get back."
"Thank you." Cooza shut the door after Ang started walking back, immediately locking the door and the windows. The small black-haired male stretched out his arms, yawning softly before going to the dresser for pajamas. Unfortunately, being gone for over two months and five months pregnant, none of his pajamas fit him.

He dug around a little more and pulled out a big t-shirt and shorts. Correction: Sisco's t-shirt and shorts. Cooza giggled slightly to himself, knowing Sisco wouldn't mind, and closed the drawer. Pulling his clothes off, he got the shorts on, breathing out in relief when they fit. Cooza went to pull the short on but stopped when he looked in the mirror. Yellow eyes stared sadly at the reflection, looking over all the marks his body wore. His eyes found his pregnant belly, a small smile gracing his lips at the happiness he felt when looking at it. He set a hand on the bump, rubbing it gently and feeling a soft kick from the baby.

Cooza took in another breath and released it slowly, taking the shirt and pulling it on. He turned and yawned again, stretching out his arms. Dropping his arms to his sides he walked to the bed, glancing at the window when something caught the corner of his eye. Yellow eyes met crimson, making him scream and run, running to the door.
"Sisco!" He cried, tears filling his eyes as he unlocked and threw open the door.

Sisco was on his way to his and Cooza's room, his steps echoing through the silent air. The silence didn't last long actually, the green-haired blader flinching slightly at the sound of a sudden scream.
"Sisco!" A voice screamed. It took a few seconds to register but he learned it was Cooza's scream, his blue eyes going wide as he started running to their room.

Making it down the hallway the room is in, Sisco seen Cooza emerge from the door, a look of terror on the black-haired male's face as he ran into his fiance's arms. Tears streaked his cheeks as he sobbed into his chest, his body shaking from whatever had scared him. Sisco looked at him with sad eyes as he watched him cry, holding tightly to him and walking back to their room.

Unfortunately, Cooza started freaking out more, his hands gripping his shirt tightly.
"No! I don't wanna go back! I seen him!" The small male was hysterical, and Sisco didn't know what he meant by 'him' until it clicked. He led his lover away from their room, still holding him and rubbing his back gently, and went to find Chris. His anger curled up in his chest but he bit it back when looking for the team owner.

"This is ridiculous!" Sisco said angrily, holding Cooza close as they sat in Chris's office. "God, what is with this guy? Can't he just leave us alone?!"
"I hear you Sisco, but I don't think this guy is gonna stop until 1. He's found and arrested, or 2. He takes Cooza again." Chris said, sadness held in her eyes. Sisco heaved a sigh, looking at his fiance sadly as he slept in his arms.
"And the police have been contacted?" The green-haired male asked, looking back at her.
"They said they'll have a couple officers stationed around the campus all night. They'll watch over just in case he comes."
"What about us? He knows what room we stay in. Is there a chance we could stay in a different one?"
"I'll look into it Sisco, don't worry. Everything is being handled."

Sisco kissed Cooza's forehead softly and stood, picking him up and adjusting him gently in his arms.
"Thank you Chris, we'll talk more in the morning. Good night."
"Yes, good night to you two as well." Chris gave him a small smile as Sisco walked out of her office, it dropping as she let out a sigh after he left. Sisco walked the halls with his sleeping fiance in his arms, yawning softly himself as he walked back to their room. Cooza shifted slightly and let out a little whine, the taller male holding him soothing him and calming him down as he walked into their room.

He set Cooza gently on their bed after closing the door, walking back over and locking it. He went over to the window and closed the curtains, shutting off the bedroom light before crawling into bed with his pregnant lover. He pulled him close, breathing in his scent as he slowly fell asleep, sleeping with the one he loved for the first time since he was found.
