Harry styles and Amanda Diamano have made headlines again. As rumours of their romance continue to mount, the pair released a song, one that has propelled Diamano's debut singing career to number one almost overnight.
We sat down with the two to discus the album, a combined effort that surprised both artists.
"It was weird to think that songs could come so easily," Shared Styles, "I think being with someone that I'm comfortable with helped me a lot. I was worried that when I did this I'd be on my own and obviously to have someone to work with always helps."
Amanda too explained that the decision to work on the album together was completely accidental, saying:
"We had been friends for a bit and were hanging out one day and I think I must have started to hum, or he made up a tune, or something, and things took off... How we went from that to an album, I'm not really sure."
When asked about the vaguely titled duet "Bonus Track", Amanda gushed, admitting she was worried it wouldn't measure up.
"I think any time that someone makes a big leap it's understandably vulnerable. Harry is such an incredible artists and I didn't know quite whether I'd be able to match his talent. I hope the fans aren't disappointed, it's a song I'm really proud of."
Styles, on the other hand, shared that he had no doubts about Diamano's abilities.
"I mean we sang together everyday, didn't we? I knew she had it in her and I was glad she let me talk her into adding it to the deluxe version. I think altogether we recorded five different songs together but ["Bonus Track"] is a really nice addition to the album. I think our relationship and closeness is felt in the song and no one else could have been quite as good."
While "Bonus Track" continues to climb the charts, surpassing even long-standing hits, the pair dodge questions about future music, with Amanda claiming only in passing that she may be interested in exploring this new part of her life.
