Assassin's Beginning Vengeance

Next part after so many months of writer's block and personal reasons, but I'm back, for the most part.

(Vicki POV)

Vicki had gone home and dressed into her superior uniform before going to the base to the Commander's summons. When she gets there she knocks on his door three times and takes a step back from the door.

The Commander opens the door. "Come in Vicki and close the door behind you."

Vicki walks in and closes the door before taking a seat, keeping her face emotionless.

The Commander sits down at his desk and looks at Vicki, seeing her expressionless look. "The guards that were involved in your brother's escort to the obstacle course two weeks ago are now in custody, and as he was injured in the course, his punishment is over and he will not become an outcast this time."

Vicki nods at this news. "than-'

The Commander raises his hand for silence. "Even though you were protecting your brother that day, you still killed that guard that had attacked him, so therefor you have to be punished for that."

"There was nothing else I could do, that guard was going to kill an essential part of our military force. The Fir family is one of the strongest forces on this island and if that guard had killed Flame, he would've tried to kill the rest of the Fir family just like they did seventeen years ago when my parents were murdered in their own home!" Vicki says, her voice rising in volume, her anger showing.

"I know that Vicki, but I have to follow the laws that this nation has set, even if we are assassins and warriors, we can't just kill our own, and with what you did, there has to be a punishment." Kaz said as he shook his head.

(Flame POV)

Flame sat up on his hospital bed and glanced around before getting off the bed. "There is no way I'm staying in this dam hospital any longer, being fed through tubes and shitting into more fucking tubes." He rips the many tubes going from machines to him. He then gets his clothes from next to the door and changes out of the hospital gown into his clothes. Next he opens the window and climbs out before walking off.

The doctor walks into Flame's hospital room with a shot. "I just need you t-" He sees the empty bed, the hospital gown on the floor and the open window and sighs. "I literally left for a fucking minute and you manage to escape, that's your fastest time yet, I guess he really doesn't like hospitals
