Mahatma Gandhi said this many years ago but especially nowadays this topic is more current than ever before. We live in the 21st century and everyone wants to make a change, save our earth and the animals living on it. But that is easier said than done... Who really makes a difference? Those who believe in there life, because it is actually up to us. We are responsible for everything we do. For every good choice, but also for our mistakes. The most important thing is that you stand to all of your thoughts and ideas. It does not matter what other people are thinking and saying behind your back, because it is your life. So please go your own way, just don't listen to other people's opinions and try to make your life unforgettable and better than you have ever imagined. Because think about it: You only have one chance, use it or loose it.
I really thought about this topic and tried to demonstrate these statements in my paintings. Especially the drawing which is inspired by the artist M.C. Escher shows that humans are socially minded beings who cannot survive without other people around them -one hand draws the other. "The world in our hands" is the easiest way to explain these pictures...
