Leah woke up in the hospital, "crap, I'm alive." she complained. her mother walked into the room, she turned and pretended to be asleep. "Leah, I know you're awake." Leah's mother said. Secretly Leah's mother knew her secret she found out when she was searching in her room crying while Leah was in the hospital. two days later Leah was healthy enough to go home, on the way home Leah stuttered words "hey mom....can I stay home for a while? I don't feel comfortable enough to go back to school." Her mom stopped and for a while there was silence "...sure, sweetie." she sighed. "thanks, mom." they pulled up to the house Leah walked decently fast into the house and plopped onto her bed. then the doorbell rang, Leah didn't care until she heard the front door slam open. "Where is my daughter!" Leah's dad yelled. "Oh, now you care? she was in the hospital for three whole days and you didn't f*cking care then!" Leah's mom argued with her ex-husband. "well I'm here now!" he yelled " Well you weren't there for her birthday, or for anything else! You were cheating on me with that sl*t!" She screamed, "Well guess what B*tch, you weren't any less of a side chick, I left the girl before you for you!" Leah tried to cover her ears. It was like this forever three months later it went on, Leah started to question why she wasn't getting a belly bump, the only symptoms of pregnancy she had was morning sickness, she started to wonder if she killed the baby in the attempt of suicide, she kinda felt guilty, but she felt relieved, then maybe she could go back to school, actually no, they wont forget even if she wasn't pregnant she still did something very bad. anyways, there was still a chance she was still pregnant. Leah's mom walked in "Hey sweetie, I have someone here for you." Leah's best friend Ren busted into the room and hugged Leah. "Leah, I know how you're feeling, but staying cooped up in here is no help, trust me. let's go to the mall." ren had no hesitation to guilt her into it, she knew it was best for Leah
"...I don't ren...I don't really feel li-" ren cut Leah off then and there. "this is the best for you, you don't have to go to school or anywhere else, but please spend time with me it's good for you and plus I miss you so much." Leah hesitated but finally giving in. "fine." Ren asserted "you're not wearing sweatpants." Leah smiled, the first time she smiled genuinely in a long time "aw man why not?" Leah joked Getting a pair of jeans and a shirt out of the closet "Leah did you gain weight? maybe it's the depression and lack of exercise." she joked "Yeah." Leah replied grinning small, but she was a little worried, maybe it didn't die.
