What happens when you fall for a guy?
Is the love worth the pain?
Or will it end with you alone to cry?
What is there to gain?
This is what I think now
As I sit alone on the dock
I know I must let go, but how?
I wish I could turn back the clock
I remembered when I saw you
Your smile had lit up the room
This feeling I felt was so, new
But little did I know this would lead me to my doom
The first kiss was so sweet
My heart swelled with love
We had been in the street
When I had felt a shove
A flash a light
The squeal of a tire
Loud in the night
My heart hurt with desire
I miss you
Even after all these years
The light has faded to a soft blue
However, I am still yours
One day I will move on but for now
I must learn how...
