Is anyone even still here??
If you are, then I have an important announcement to make regarding the future of this story.
Okay, this story will be put on hiatus for some time. This is because, after much deliberation, I've decided to make it a spinoff to my other Death Note fanfic - The Girl With No Name, which can be found on my profile.
For a long time, I was conflicted with how this story would work since Light is now essentially invincible AND has the Shinigami Eyes. If anyone tried to fight against Light this time around, they'd be killed instantly and it'd be Game Over within about five chapters - which is boring.
Therefore, I've decided to set this story in the same universe that my other DN fanfic is set in because that story has certain attributes that would make it harder for Light to achieve his end goal (I won't spoil it though).
I won't take this story down, but it will be on hiatus until my other Death Note story is finished. If you want to continue reading this story, I highly recommend you read my other DN fanfic because from here on in, I'm going to be introducing characters and themes that are exclusive to that story (I know this sounds like self promotion, but it's not lol).
Thank you all so much for the positive responses to this though. I was genuinely surprised that so many people actually took the time to read this story and wanted it to continue. I'm hugely thankful for everyone who's interested and I really hope that I can make this story worthwhile :)
