Uhhnh, where am i, why am i in a bed, why am- owwwww, ouch, ohhhh, why is my back hurting, why- argh, why is my shoulder paining. Guess like i am stuck in the bed for a while.

"Oh hi there Lauren, i see that your awake, how are you feeling". The doctor said, as she went through the file report. "Not to good" i replied, as moaned about the pain. " your lucky to be alive Lauren, a lot of the people we rescued didn't make it through" the doctor said as she picked up a pen and started to jot stuff down.

"Where am i?" i asked the doctor, curious to know, " your on a EMCU, Emergency Medical Care Unit, this is where we take care of hurt and injured patients"

"Oh, okay" I was still very confused, how did i not die in the middle of the blast, how did they get me out, how did the-

" Okay then, i will leave if you please, i'll come back later, if you need any help, push this button and the nurses will come. Take care" the doctor turned to leave

"Wait!" i yelled

" I still have a few more questions, that i still need the answers to"

" You will get the answer later, when you wake back up later" the doctor said, as she walked towards me with a huge needle now, where she got that, i don't know, but she had a huge needle and she was walking towards me

" Wait! Nooo!!" she stabbed the needle in my left thigh, i felt as if everything was spinning around, my thigh started to feel numb, and then my arms. My eye lids started to close, i tried to fight back but it took control over me, and i fell unconscious.

I woke up, my eyes were still groggy from the needle, i dont know how long i was out but it looked more darker than before, it was probably night now. I started to click the nurse button, i had to get my answers, i was so confused.

The nurses still didn't come, so i started to spam on the button until something started to beep, doctors, nurses, and a few other people came rushing into my room, they were all pushing carts and were wearing gloves, they were yelling at each other, no one was looking at me, there were so focused in trying to get everything in place, that even sanitized my right hand and were about to give me a shot.

"STOPPPP!!!!" I yelled at the top of my lungs, trying to get there attention, as well as not trying to get needles. They all looked at me dumbfound, "i just have a few questions"

They all turned around, and walked out of the room, with a bunch of murmurs and wisperings, after all of them left the room, there was one person left behind, he was wearing a suit and stuff.

"I will answer all your questions" said the mysterious man

" okay, i have a whole list of them, so you better answer all of them, each and everyone of them" i said, with a serious face

"Yeah yeah, but you owe me"

"Owe you what"

"Safe or Sound"

"What!, Safe or Sound, what's that supposed to mean"

"Safe or Sound, pick one to keep, pick one to leave"

"Fine, i pick Safe to keep, and Sound to leave, but whats this even supposed to mean"

"This is The Arctic Freeze, pick one, and lose one"

"Okay, i already picked now answer all my questions!"

"Fine, but are you sure about you choice"

"Your creeping me out, but yes i am sure of my choice, just answer them and leave"

"Okay, if you say so"

"Give me your hand" the guy said

"What!?" Now i was confused and scared, this guys was starting to creep me out"

"Your hand Madame!" The mysterious guy said, but louder than he said before

"Okay, okay, just don't hurt me"

I did what he asked, i gave him my hand, afraid what he might do

"Thank you, now close your eyes"

I listened without objection and closed my eyes. He put a cup in my hand, it was filled with some brown liquid, I think it's chai, and then he made me swallow it, before i knew it, he was force feeding me. He ran away with a mysterious smirk on his face, he lied, he tricked me, and then i lost it, i thought i was hallucinating, but it was real.

I felt a weird tingle feeling, i felt like i wanted to laugh, i was all giggle and my emotions were all washed out, like when you wash your dirty car, you just feel relieved, that's how i felt. Pleased

My eyelids fought against my will and shut, and i fell unconscious once again.

I don't know how, but i did, i was out of the facility, and on a transport to return home. I fainted at the last second, backup had arrived on the right time and they pulled us out. I would have been dead, but i owe it to them.

They put us on these helicopters which are able to withstand almost anything that's thrown at them. We have more than a hundred of them flying right now, with twenty people in each. They are supposed to get us out of the arctic zone, and away from the facility. They put the national gaurd on duty to protect and destroy the facility.

I don't know what are on the other helicopters, but i know for sure that some of them have us workers and scientists. I am on the EMCU, emergency medical care unit, An air ambulance for who have been injured. I was shot in the lower back and left shoulder, the doctors were able to take the bullets out and save me

It was my pure luck that it narrowly missed my vertebrae, i would have died if it was hit. I am slightly paralyzed, i can walk, but need some assistance, the bullet ripped through my muscles, which are unrepairable, but would heal over time.

" Attention all passengers, we will be experiencing some difficulty as we pass, so please brace for any impact, or turbulence, but we suspect to be at our destination in a couple of hours"

"Psch~ Alfred to alpha red, alpha red come in~ Psch"

"Alpha red here, we have entered a war zone, we don't think we will make it, its to heavy, these bad boys won't be able to make it, may god bless u-"

"Alpha red come in, Alpha red!" DANG IT! That's another one lost, Alpha red has lost all contact, who's still left on the board. "Sir we have lost Golden Eagle, Alpha one, Blue robin, Red Goose, and Rouge seven, we still have EMCU left on the grid, but there popping in and out, i think they also might be gooners, sorry sir"

"Make all contact with them, we have to keep them alive, there our only hope, May God Be With Them"
