Dear M, 6-3
I'm sorry that I've been ignoring you; things have just been really hard lately. However, I'm doing a lot better now because I've come to terms with a few things.
I'm hopelessly in love. I believe I've been denying this for many years, but I am in fact in love. I'm in love with someone I never would've fathomed. I'm in love with my best friend. I'm in love...so madly in love,
With you.
With sincerity,
Vee
P.S I will probably
never mail this.No no..this is not where things started... it started in 7th grade.
"Tell me more tell me more!" She sang out down the hall. You could hear her from a mile away. Madeline Beckmann. I looked over, like I did every day. She practically danced down the hallway with her friends. She was beautiful, she had medium length brown hair that fell to her back in perfect natural curls. Freckles dotted her face and arms, and she had dark brown eyes. She was the prettiest person I had ever seen.
We had one class together, but she probably had no idea I even existed. All I wanted was to be her friend, but I was terrified of talking to her.
I caught myself staring and feared she'd seen me when she stopped singing. I looked at my feet then back to her to make sure she wasn't looking. She was. She walked over to me, and I felt my breath hitch. "Hey I'm so sorry for stating, I-uh, I really like your singing." I was tripping over my own words and stuttering left and right. She put her hand on my shoulder, and my back was up against the lockers. "Hey, shh, you're okay." She said with her smooth voice. "You're cute when you're flustered." I chocked on air. Madeline? Thought I? Was cute? "Th-thanks." I felt my cheeks heat up. "So what's your name?" She said looking me almost up and down. "Venus, but I go by Ve"
She smiled, "well V, I'll see you around."She let go of my shoulder and walked away. I let out a sigh of relief. Wow, this was my chance. I had waited so long to be friends with her, and now I had a shot.
I went home that night and wrote about the day in my stupid dairy. Something about her made my heart race. Especially when she called me cute, and put her hand on my shoulder.
