"OH MY LORRRDDD!!!" screamed JJ. As the lights went out we heard glass shatter. We all grabbed knives and scissors from the kitchen. "OMG GUYS IM SCARED!" whispered Julia. We grabbed some toy walkie talkies on the way to the bedroom. "How convenient" I said. We all went to different rooms in groups of two with the walkies. We were ready to pounce. "THUMP, THUMP, THUMP". We heard from the rooms. "Khshlhsh-Hello?!?! Khdhdkhsc-This do-wor-kshlhskshchs-AHHH-". We heard Kaylees voice from the room over. We all jumped out with knives and saw kaylee being hit in the leg with a baseball bat. "AHHHHHHHHHH" I screamed as I ran at Mike and slashed at Mike. He dived out the window onto the trampoline. "So many convienient things in this house." Said Sav. We grabbed Kaylee and saw her leg bleeding. The power came back on. We patched her up with some bandages that were in the bathroom she hid in. "Where are the DAMN Police at?!?!" Yelled Deku. We bunkered in the bedroom until we heard sirens. We ran downstairs as fast as possible while Me and Deku helped Kaylee downstairs. Julia explained everything to the cops and they said they will call an ambulance and will take a search around the neighborhood. All of our parents were gone and we were just going to have a good week to ourselves until this popped up. We saw Kaylee go into the ambulance and they said she had a fractured knee. "Damn. That makes us one kid short." Exclaimed JJ. We had to go somewhere and we had school the next day. The sun was setting. But we had an idea. We would stay at Deku's house and 2 people would stand guard through the night. Everyone slept with a weapon of some sort next to them. I feel bad for Sav and JJ that couldn't make it through the school day because of sleep. Mark didn't come that day. "Surprising." I said sarcastically. We didn't have a safe place to sleep. After school we all went to the church and said everything to a pastor. He gave us a bottle of holy water and told us to splash it on Mark whenever we see him whenever we get the chance. I took the bottle and decided we need to visit Kaylee in the hospital. The doctor said "She'll make a full recovery but she needs time." Its been 3 days and she hasn't recovered but can walk around in crutches, I can just imagine what her parents are gonna think! We were making our way to Deku's house when "oh no." Said everyone. We saw someone in his house but this time with, with... A gun. They saw us... They pointed it at us from the window... Finger on the trigger. "HOLY SH-BOOOOOOOOOOMMM". The sound echoed.
