"Why. Why. Why." Her sound resounded.
"Why".
"How could you."
"You betrayed me"
"You left me"
"YOU killed me"
"YOU. YOU. YOU."
I woke up that day sweating. The sweat fell down from my hair onto my bedsheets.
Ugh. I knew I betrayed someone. But who was it? I betrayed loads of people. Oh well.
I woke up and went to the sink. As far as I was concerened a few dreams didn't mean anything.
With a splash of water and scrub with my toothbrush I change.
Looking into the mirror I saw myself. With my short hair and long, slim body and face people often were attracted to me, not that I returned their affections.
With that I changed. Changing was such a hassle. You only had to change otherwise other people judged you. Ugh. Yeah. I say Ugh a lot.
And with that I left. Didn't really need to eat lunch at home. I could just go and buy it at a shop. It didn't matter. Time was precious and money.
Money was everything. I destroyed many people's reputations and lives with my job for money. I didn't really care. It was just part of the job.
I entered my job place. Dark and danky as usual. The occasional drip on water from the leaking pipe was soothing and slightly hypnotising.
I went further in. My footsteps echoed throughout the place. Walking further inside I entered the 'Room'.
"So. How are you?"
"Fine."
"Grumpy as usual eh?"
"..."
"Cheer up mate." He said stroking his beard.
This was my boss. Francis. I didn't know his last name nor did I want to ask. Most of the girls who met him said he was pretty attractive with his goatee and slightly dark skin, his height and slim body made him even more attactive... According to him. Not that I really found him really attractive.
"So....." He said rolling his eyes and with a slight smile on his face, something I honestly detested.
"Here's your next job."
"Who is it for?" I said.
"A young man. Mitchell Brian. 26 years old and head of the Ravens." Francis said. He turned serious.
"Accepted."
"Be careful. He's got a lot of people."
"Sure. It doesn't matter. I'm the best anyway."
"Yeah. That's right. Your in the top 10."
Francis smiled a mischievious smile again.
"That's right. Your are 'Diana, the silent seraph' after all." His eyes glinted.
That's right. I was in a job. I worked. I gained. I killed. I didn't care.
