Beep! Beep! Beep! I slowly get out of bed and make my way over to my computer to turn off the alarm. After turning off the alarm, I did a quick stretch and turned on my light.

My Crisalest Academy uniform is a grey, knee length skirt, a white button-up shirt, a blue tie, and a grey suit like jacket that has a blue cocoon on the right shoulder sleeve. As you go through your high school years, the butterfly slowly comes out of its cocoon and spreads its wings for your senior year. I ran my hand through my shoulder length hair, grabbed my bag, and walked downstairs. 'Everything is going according to plan,' I thought to myself walking out the front door, but as soon as I turned around, I realized that Zack was waiting at the gate for me. Our eyes made contact as a grin stretched across his face.

"How did I know that you would sneak out of the house while Marie was cooking breakfast?" by the tone in Zack's voice, you could tell he was proud of his accomplishment, "looks like you have no choice but to walk with me."

I let out a deep sigh, "You win. I'll walk with you." I walked out of the gate and past him. I have no intention of giving up, so easily. With an innocent grin on my face, I said, "On one condition."

The smile on Zack's face disappeared while he searched for anything to find out what I'm scheming. He sighed before saying, "What now?"

I took off running, yelling behind me, "You have to catch me." I knew he would chase me. After I turned left at the end of the street, he yelled something back at me. I think it was something on the line of you're on. I stopped when I noticed that he was far behind me. To catch my breath, I leaned against a wooden fence. 'Where am I?' I asked myself since I won't be safe until I get to school. I started walking down the street to see if I can find any landmarks to tell me which way to go. Before long, I noticed that this is the main street that the car takes to get me to school. 'Good, I'm not lost.' I mumbled under my breath.

Zack yelled from behind me, "Rose!" His voice wavered. I could tell he couldn't breathe as his breaths were coming in raggedly. I spun around and ran to him.

"Zack are you alright?" I asked. He was panting hard, and his knees were shaking. "You ran straight after me!" I yelled at him, "what about your asthma? You know you can't push yourself so much."

He pulled me into a hug. "Caught you," he whispered into my ear, "I win." He wasn't panting anymore. I had a feeling that he had a massive grin on his face right now.

He let me go. "Cheater!" I yelled. "I thought you were going to collapse." With my fist balled up, I pulled back and hit him as hard as I could in the stomach. He fell to his knees. I don't know whether I hurt him or if I just knocked the wind out of him.

"Damn," Zack said gripping where I had hit him. "I never knew that you could punch that hard." He tried to stand up, but he couldn't move too fast. "That really hurts." He said finally standing up straight.

From behind me, I heard a guy's voice say, "I can't believe you got beaten up by a girl, Zack." I turned around to see who was speaking. There were three cute guys in the same uniform as Zack. The tan pants, white button-up shirt, red tie, and the tan suit like jacket with a bulldog's face on the left shoulder sleeve. The three of them were all taller than me. The one who spoke was the same height as Zack with jet black hair and smokey, grey eyes. The guy on his right was a little shorter than him, with fiery red hair and bright green eyes. The last guy was 1-2 inches taller than me with blonde hair, royal blue eyes, and glasses. He noticed me staring at him, and he hid behind the open book in his hands.

The red-haired guy leaned towards me, "Hey, are you his girlfriend or something?" He said fiercely, "No bitch hits my friend and gets away with it." The way he spoke to me really pissed me off for some reason.
