Chapter Two: Confrontation
Hinata's POV
Hinata's heart sped faster every step she took towards Naruto and the huge group of girls that surrounded him. A million thoughts raced through her head at once and she realized she should have thought this through more.
'What am I going to say to him?', 'Is there a way to get past so many people?', 'Will he even hear me over everyone else?', 'What if I embarass mys-'
"Oomf!"
Hinata gasped and fell backwards landing flat on her butt on the hard pavement. She had run into one of the girls surrounded around Naruto and she was glaring at Hinata. "Watch where the heck you're going!", she spat and a few of the girls who had observed the scene snickered.
Unfortunately Naruto had wittnessed everything too.
He headed straight towards Hinata, who was still sitting on the pavement probably looking like an idiot. Her cheeks flushed in embarassment at the thought, and even more when she took his extended hand and helped her get up. Naruto's blue eyes were filled with concern...no wait what? Hinata noticed that Naruto's expression showed concern, but his eyes were dark and menacing like he was about to snap. She shivered involuntarily.
"Are you okay?", Naruto asked. His words were kind, but there was an edge to his voice. Hinata was shocked. She glanced around the crowd who had gathered around to see what was going on, but none of them seemed to register anything wrong with Naruto, just her.
"I....um...I...", Hinata stuttered.
'Think of something to say Hinata!!!! Come on!' She mentally scolded herself, but then she suddenly said something that surprised everyone, even herself.
"I LIKE YOU NARUTO-KUN!" she shouted.
'Seriously? out of all the things why did I say THAT?' Hinata's face turned red as she started to hear all the murmurs and laughter around her and even more when she looked at Naruto's shocked expression. But suddenly she noticed his eyes get darker, looking like he was craving something.
'Now I made him mad!! I was such a failiure at this, I knew that it would be impossible from the start. I'm so stupid.' Looking away from Naruto, Hinata's eyes started to water, she wanted to get as far away from him and this place as she could.
She quickly apologized to Naruto still not daring to look at him, "Naruto I'm so sorry please just forget this ever happened.", and turned around to leave, when Naruto grabbed her arm.
He began walking with her in tow, dragging her away from the very shocked crowd. Hinata could barely register what was going on, and was confused as ever. 'What just happened? Where's he taking me? Wait! He was mad wasn't he? He's taking me away to kill me!!!!!' Hinata's heart started to beat faster as Naruto led her inside the still empty school. He said nothing to her as he led her through the empty halls until he led her inside an empty classroom and closed the door.
Before she knew it Hinata was pushed against a wall with Naruto's hands on either side of her head. She looked into his eyes, and sure enough the look of some sort of craving was in his eyes making them look clouded and darker as she stared back at him. Then suddenly he uttered the two words Hinata never thought Naruto would say to her.
"Kiss me."
