Veera walked out of the building and was heading towards her car when she heard someone calling from the back. She looked back.
"Hey! Hey! Veera!" Abhimanyu came running to her.
"What?" Asked she.
"Umm. Can you meet me tomorrow evening?" Asked Abhimanyu.
"Umm. I think I'll be busy tomorrow. Sorry." Said Veera.
"Please its my birthday tomorrow." Said Abhimanyu making a puppy face.
"Umm. I'll try." Said Veera.
"Thank you so much." Said Abhimanyu.
"Well where?" Asked Veera.
"You don't have to worry about that. I'll pick you up. Just text me your address." Said Abhimanyu.
"Okay." Said Veera as she drove away.
She reached home and walked inside. She got freshened up and got ready to head towards the head quarters.
She reached the head quarter and the sliding door opened. She walked in and placed her finger on the finger print scanner and it signalled green.
She entered as the metal door opened. All the workers there greeted her as she walked in straight to a cabin. The cabin was dark with three people sitting there with a projector on.
"Good morning Sir." She said as she walked in.
The man Arun. Stood up and gave her a warm smile. She ignored it and continued. "Sir. I need our armed team to be ready by tomorrow evening. Arsh and Mahaveer you will keep the place ready for enquiry. We will capture out target B tomorrow evening. I have not yet got the place's address but once I get it I'll text you and I want you guys to prepare well. We'll have to carch Arjun Singh red handed."
"Veera don't you think it's too fast?" Asked Arun.
"No Sir. We'll have to hurry up or else it may happen that we get to know everything when it already has become too late." Said Veera sternly.
"As you say." The man said.
"Sir I got something." Said Mahaveer as he connected his laptop with the projector.
There was a chart of flight timings.
"Sir three cargo flights have left from Durban and there is no record of what is the cargo inside it." He said pointing the curser to three flights which had left at the same time.
"Note the numbers." Said Veera.
"Yes sure." Said Mahaveer.
"Well I'm heading back. I need to keep a track on target B. Though I think that he is an easier chap than target A." Said Veera.
"Yeah! Sure." Said Arun.
Veera stood up straight and stomped her feet and saluted and said, "Jai Hind!" And then she left.
She walked out from the headquarters and drove away. She drove, until she reached a bungalow at Noida. The bungalow looked old and deserted, but it was well maintained. She walked in through the gate as an old gate keeper saluted her by stomping his feet and saying, "Jai Hind!"
Veera repeated the action and said with a warm smile on her face, "Chacha kaise ho aap?"
"Hum toh beta thik hi hain bas woh taquat aur moochen chali gai aur baal bhi safed pad gaye." Said thegate keeper as he spoke with lots of humor in his voice.
"Chacha aap ghar kiyun nahi chale jate? Aap ke paise aur aap ke Pote ki school fees main pauncha dunga har mahine ki pehli tariq ko." Said Veera.
"Chala toh main ja sakta tha beta pad yeh ghar chodke jane ka mann nahi hota. Beta mere liye toh yehi mera ghad hain. Aur tum hi meri parivaar ho. Major Saabh ke jane ke baad toh Vikram mera beta tha aur tum meri eklauti poti. Tab mujhe jab mere parivaar ke zarurat sabse zyada thi, tab toh mera beta nashe main sara din duth rehta tha. Tab kaun mera dekhbhaal karta tha? Tumhare Papa, Vikram." After saying this, the man's eyes moistened up.
"Chacha, aap rooyenge nehi. Roote toh woh hain jinhone haar maan liya ho. Aur aap kabhi haar maano ge nehi. Aap bhool mat jana ki aap ke beta kaun tha. Aap ka beta General Vikram Pratap hain. Aasoon aap ke aankh ke liye nahi bana." She said as she wiped off the tears from the man's eyes.
