"Dad" I whispered, Taking his hand in mine.

Never have I seen him this helpless before, I always considered him as a superhero.

I watched as he was breathing with the help of machines. His heart rate was monitored and his body motionless on the hospital bed.

I wiped my eyes and Lowered to the chair beside him.

I was still talking to him when my phone beeped.

It was a notification from S-TV that I subscribed.

I moved to the side and switched on the TV. I changed channels and finally opened S-TV.

Sure enough, There was a breaking news going on.

I stared at the news and was caught off guard.

Surya group actually found a way to wiggle out, They just used Trisha's report against herserself, Even going as far as linking the two cases; Priyanka and my Dad's case together, Claiming that Abiram is the innocent party in both cases.

They are also claiming that Reporter Trishana is venting her personal grudge against Surya Group by falsely accusing them.

In order to prove their theory, They played each and every instances were Trisha had came forward against them-which was a lot!

If I didn't know better, Even I would have thought that She's going too far ahead with her accusations.

I took my phone and dialled her automatically.

"Yea, I saw it karthik" She said as soon as she picked up.

"They are going to sue you, Trisha, We don't have any evidence to prove the involvement of Abiram in this"

"Don't worry about it, Karthik, Let Arjun take care of it himself" She said dryly and I stilled, Now understanding that She's not in a "great" mood.

"Arjun?" I said, Now slowly processing the information.

"It must be his idea, Who else would think about turning the case back around? I think He was trying to get enough attention on this case" She said. "S-TV broadcasted it and the whole nation is aware of this now"

"Mm..I got it, He was actually trying to help you, But why are you so frustrated?"

"He just made it sound like I am a liar! Some of the mails I got from the readers were really colorful, You will be amazed at their creativity, Karthik"

I laughed at that.

"Don't read anything now and go to bed, Arjun will turn it back around like you said, let's just wait and see" I said.

"Mm..but are you okay karthik? You were not in a good mood when you left" She asked me.

"Mm..My mood elevated when I saw your Reporting, At Least we got the commissioner and the police department with this" I said. "Now I need to get that bastard who tried to kill him"

"Mm..we will surely get him, Karthik" I said. "I am glad that you are okay" she said.

"I never thought I will be jealous of anyone, Trisha" I said. "When I saw that mail my dad sent you, I was really jealous of you" I said.

"I know, I am being silly, But it was just that" I said.

"Then take care of your dad well and come back safe"
