It was 2 in the morning. All I could hear was Tony getting busy with some model. My poor 17 year old ears couldn't take it anymore. I shot straight up out of bed and burst into his room. The girl on top of him screamed and oh, Tony? He just laughed his pretty little head off. I couldn't believe my father and I were staying with the Starks, anything to take my dads mind off of mom leaving us.

"Someone wanna learn?" He asked, grinning and putting his hands behind his head. I rolled my eyes and grabbed a pillow, chucking it hard into his face. I grabbed the girl up by her hair, glaring at her.

"Ow! Ow! Ow!" She yelped.

"GET OUT OF THE HOUSE!"

"You rich people are nuts! I'm out!" She barked, trying to run and replace her clothes. I turn to Tony sharply on my heel, throwing him his boxers.

"Seriously, some people have to SLEEP! You're lucky our parents are on the 3rd floor." I turned around to leave, but there stood naked Tony, leaning against the door frame. I fell backwards and gasped, shielding my eyes.

"C'mon Tony! Ew!"

"You like it.." He said before walking into his bathroom to shower.

I shuttered in disgust. Tony and I never got along. But our parents were great friends, my dad a world renown biochemist, was obviously a very close friend to Howard. Tony and I practically fought for tabloids. Little did Tony and I know that the next day would entirely change our lives forever...

10 years later:

I was back in California for the annual memorial. Which I had never showed up to. Why'd I show up this time? I recieved an invitation from Bruce Banner. An intern for my dad before my father disappeard and Tonys parents were killed. Some people say it was a conspiricy. That someone was out to kill them. Which in Tony's case was true, mine however, my father went missing. But I could never turn down Bruce. He had been my high school sweetheart after all. I came dressed in all black, shaking, hesitant to speak at the podium, the whole world ready to watch me again. I was given my fathers work, his lab, his business, but I had not done a thing to run it. I left it vacant and only Bruce had access. It wasn't in my best interest. My limo pulled up to the opera house, escorts leading me in.

I was greeted by a woman with strawberry blonde hair. She smiled softly at me. I squint hard, trying to recognize her.

"Virgina! Virgina Potts! Gosh, you've grown up!" I scream, hugging her.

"Pepper.." She said in a quiet whisper.

"Pe...pepper?"

"Call me Pepper." She whispered again.

"Why are we whispering?" I ask her.

Looking up, directly behind her, stood him. Smug in his black suite, his shades covering any sense of emotion he had left. He fixed his tie, smacking his lips up and raising his chin, as if he was better than me. He had a couple rings on his fingers, all silver. He twisted one off, throwing it toward me. I caught it and read the engraving. To: Stark From: Bentland. Gregory Bentland. My father. Tony quickly removed his sunglasses and winked at me.

"Don't go trying to change my assitants name. I stuck her with Pepper. Pepper. Peeeeppppeeerrrrrr. Slips off the tongue easier." He said, clicking his tongue suggestively at her. She shuffled and blushed. Give me a break.

"Meet you inside sweetheart." He said kissing her head. Has his ego blown up since Iron Man? And him and Pepper? Since when?

She scurried away and I gently waved.

"Y...yeah bye!" I shouted.

Tony wrapped his arm around me and I curled.

"So nice of you to show up. Our parents would've liked you to show up to the last 10, but that's okay. a decades not much." He said, overly sarcastic.
