(Fionna POV)
I woke up to something fluffy tickling my nose.
I scrunched up my nose, bringing my hands up to shield it.
"Get up baby girl! I made breakfast." Cake purred into my ear.
I groaned and rolled over. "I don't see light. I don't have to get up yet."
I heard huff an annoyed sigh as she stretched herself over my tired body.
"Try opening your eyes. I always find that a useful tactic when I'm trying to see something." Cake said, her voice dripping with sarcasm.
I whined and slowly brought up my heavy eyelids, allowing intense light creeping in from the window to partially blind me for a few moments.
"Now its too bright!" I groaned again, sending my head crashing back down into the comfort of my soft, white pillow.
" Always complaining!" Cake teased, nudging me softly in my rib cage. "What will it take to please you?"
"You could let me go back to sleep..." I trailed off, my eyelids becoming heavier by the second.
"Welp." Cake said, wrapping her soft kitty paws aroung my stomach. "Thats not an option."
With one swift movement, she yanked me up from the comfort of my bed.
"Cake!" I shrieked, fighting against her grip. Cake ignored my screams and effortlessly travled down the stairs to the first level of the tree house.
Cake set me down at the table. "Eat." She said, her voice stern.
I sighed and rested my head in my hand, struggling to keep my eyes open. I lazily picked up my fork and shoved it into whatever Cake was searving. (I couldn't keep my eyes open long enough to see)
Cake came over and set down her coffee cup.
"I've never seen you so tired!" Cake exclaimed. "What happened last night that you're so sleepy!?"
I shook my head, some of my matted blonde hair falling into my face. "N...Nothing" I lied. "I just didnt sleep well."
Cake eyes me suspiciously, but didnt question me further.
"Well baby girl, why dont you hop in the shower and try to wake yourself up?" Cake asked, taking my plate of barely touched foot and shoveling it into her mouth.
"Mm-Kay." I said, sleepily pushing myself up from my seat at the table and dragging myself up the ladder to get to our room.
I threw myself down on my matress and closed my eyes, wrapping my body in my warm blanket. I snuggled in my blanket, wrapping myself like a cacoon.
I felt i cool draft coming in from somewhere. Not wanting to get out of bed, i just bought the comforter over my head.
"Oh...I'm sorry." A deep voice hissed. "Am I making you cold?"
I tried to scream, but a cool hand shot out, covering my mouth. I started kicking and punching. I felt my my foot land something, and then a howel of pain.
I wripped the covers from over my head to see Marshall Lee curled up in a little ball on my bed with his eyes closed, groaning.
"Dammit Marshall! You scared me half to death!"
Marshall looked up at me, his red eyes locking with my cool blue.
"You!" He gasped. I giggled a little bit to my self. I saw Marshalls eyes water over as he pushed himself up to meet my eyes.
"You!" He gasped again, groaning.
"Hit you were the sun don't shine?" I laughed.
Marshall violently shoved his hands down and nodded his head.
"Then don't scare me like that!" I said, hopping off my bed. Marshall laid his head back down on my pillow and groaned again.
I threw my pillow at him. "Man up Marshall!" I teased, giggling slightly.
Marshall's head perked up. "I am man!" He stated. I giggled again. Marshall Lee gave me a sly smirk and winked, causing me to turn crimson red.
I heard Marshall's deep laugh. I huffed, still embarrassed.
"Its not funny." I whined.
"Then why am I laughing?" Marshall asked.
I huffed another annoyed sigh as Marshall continued to laugh hysterically. I pushed myself up from my bed and began to walk downstairs.
