The stench of Ash and smoke filled the air. Bruce woke up and coughed, rubbed his tearing up eyes from the heat and frowned. "What the.." Banner muttered as he realised that he was being carried. "Let me go!" He pulled away and fell on his face. He looked at the ground which was burning up. "Ow!" He pulled his hands away and stood up. He put his arms around his bare chest and sighed. "Hela, Loki...." He gulped. "Am I dead?"
"look around Banner! you're long gone.." Hela smirked.
Bruce shook his head.
"I can't be dead! Where's Natasha?!" He shouted.
"sorry, but I'm keeping you here." the goddess replied stiffly.
"okay, this is so. Bad..So very bad! Take me to earth, I have to see Natasha!" she spoke mockingly to Bruce, turned away and then got up in his face. "NO." She stated strictly and sighed. "Follow me Loki. We have much to do."
Bruce darted after them. "Wait! I need to leave this place!!" He shouted and grabbed Helas arm.
She quickly pushed him off of her. "don't touch me!" She hissed.
banner began to panic. "You can't just leave me here!" He cried.
" Watch me. " She replied and walked off with Loki.
Bruce crossed his arms and sat down on the ground. Arms around his knees which were touching his chest. What would he do now?! He cried out is dispair and put is hands on his face and wept. "natasha..."
Natasha got up after rubbing tears off her red face and began to go inside the Avengers facility. She approached the others and took a deep breath before speaking. her voice cracked as she was having a difficult time saying the words. "bruce...He's gone." She cradled his lifeless body in her arms and cried prefusly. She was embarrassed because nothing made her cry before. She was supposed to be a mindless assassin for most of her life. this proved that she wasn't.
"Oh my god." Tony muttered. "how-"
He was interrupted by Steve who never exactly interrupted ever, but he wanted to help so he thought he should this time. "How can we help?" he said calmly but showing sadness in his eyes and his tone of voice.
"we can visit him in the after life." thor spoke up. "
