Two years later...

There were seven people; we were all running through the forest wearing our sweaty green uniform and carrying our arms. Vijay was on lead. A large group of police was chasing us like a hunter whale with their giant flashlights. There was frequent sound of gunshots; all of which missed us by inches. Just a little bit; and we will get to our ron-day-voo point.

Uncle ji sent us to a mission to assassinate Sharma ji; and he warned us to keep it contained. Everyone should think that this was an accident. But that's where everything gone wrong. We assassinated him without any difficulty; but failed to frame the accident.

We had a secret tunnel just a little ahead of us, beside the rail-line. Our plan was to hide there; as long as we needed to. Then we would get out and head back.

I was the slowest one among the group. So, the police got their advantage. They were continuously firing; and the bursting flashlights helped them a lot. And we kept running for our lives.

'Almost there, just a little bit more' I murmured; gathered all of my remaining energy to run faster. And BANG! A piercing pain almost blinded me, everything turned white for a fraction of second. I got shot; may be in the right side of my liver. I couldn't feel where the bullet hit me. But it slowed me down; fortunately we were near that tunnel. Vijay came forward and helped me up. They dragged me into that tunnel and someone covered the entrance with tree brunches and dead leaves. My eyesight was still blurry, or maybe it was too dark to see.

I could hear the footsteps passing around us, and hoping that nobody would find the entrance. Suddenly a flashlight was lit the entrance; the cracks between the branches were enough to scare us. 'Oh, boy! Someone is trying to find something through the covered entrance.' A frightened voice was speaking inside my head. And seriously, that guy was really checking if something was under that bush, and all those brunches.

And we heard a man shouting 'Is there anything else?'

The flashlight moved away from the spot; our heartbeats rose to a million times per second. The guy replied back, 'No, It seems okay. Let's move on.'

A huge amount of load was lifted from our pounding hearts. Everyone was relieved. The tapping footsteps were gone; it seemed like they were headed for the other side of the rail-line. So, we came out.

I was leaning on Vijay's shoulders. He helped me get out. I could see the train line a few feet ahead of us. And a hooting train was approaching very slowly. That was our exit. In that area; the trains ran really slowly. There was some kind of animal protection protocol. And that's why anyone could get into that train if they ran for it. But may be the odds weren't in my favor. I was not sure if I could make it.

And I heard the shouting noise. One of those flashlights spotted us. Bad luck again. But the guy was on the other side of the rail track. Immediately his words were cut off by the whooshing train. It covered our location before the others could look back.

The other five went first; and then pulled me up. I could hardly run, but still did it. Vijay followed after me. The wound was bleeding like hell. They couldn't bandage the wound before. So now Vijay tore his shirt and tied it up very tightly around my chest. He couldn't take out the bullet in that darkness. But it didn't hurt as much as before. I was rather enjoying the mild breeze brushing my hairs. I felt very dizzy. I closed my eyes.

- Don't fall asleep now.' Vijay said, pushing me awake. 'Try to keep your eyes open. Talk to me. It'll help.'

He was thinking something; his face was very calm but unhappy. Maybe today's incident pissed him off or it could be anything else.
