The Sun and The Moon

When Dan met Phil, Dan had no idea how the sunlight from the others personality would pollute his dark one in a single moment. The night they met, the stars were glittering down of the puddles of rain. The Manchester Eye was lit up with street lights and lined with bakeries  and stores owned for generations after generations of families.

Dan had so may things running through his mind when he met Phil. He couldn't stop thinking of the other's features. The raven black hair, the ocean blue eyes, the way his tongue poked through his tinted pink lips when he laughed, or even his voice, the Northern accent wilted as he spoke.

Dan had the worst past anyone could wish for. He was abused, both mentally and physically, he was raped, and he was kicked out of his house the day of his eighteenth birthday, but when Phil found him on the side of the road, he could not have known anything until that night. That night, Dan finally felt accepted by the world. He felt like he could fight anything.

Phil's sun had taken the moon's place in Dan's heart. He loved Dan more and more as the night progressed, Dan's smile growing bigger. Dan needed this kind of attention in his life after twenty years of neglect from society. Dan never felt so, he didn't know what to call it then, but he felt loved.

That night was the brightest night in Manchester because of this beautiful relationship flourishing under the stars. They were so happy, especially Dan. Dan was grateful of Phil taking him in as they knew each other better and better as their relationship grew stronger than a chain link. Tonight was the night they both found their love inside the beating drums they call hearts.

Dan had thought that once Phil knew his story, that he was going to end up on the street again, but since that night in 2009, they have been together, and they will be together forever. So far they have been together for 9 years, and many more it shall be.

The night they met is never to be forgotten. That night is where they keep their minds because that night was a special night,  that night was a night that they should remember forever. That night, they had stayed in the dark forever, because the moon shall be light by the sun, like the way Phil lit up Dan.  That night in the Manchester Eye was the whole world to them, and the whole world was going to be spinning around that night. That night was the best night of all.

The whole world could be bigger than them, but their thoughts are bigger than the universe, no one change that. So what's the worst that the could say? Things are better if they stay, only because they needed to stay.

" Ladies and gentlemen, we're still in the dark."
