Thursday morning
Brian's morning:
"But baby, I love you!" Said Brian. "And I love you too!" Shouted Mary, "But that doesn't change the fact that you were with her last night!"
Brian stood confused, surrounded by his belongings in his own from yard. "What are you even talking about?" He asked, as dark storm clouds rolled in over his little home town of Century, Florida.
Mary had heard enough and slammed the door in his face. Brian looked around the yard, puzzled, heart-broken, and now laughing!
He had no idea what Mary was talking about, and the only thing he did know is that every thing he owned is about to be ruined by the immanent storm quickly approaching from the south.
There were two things on his mind: What happened last night, and where he can go to get away from the storm.
Mary's morning:
"And I love you too!" She shouted, "But that doesn't change the fact that you were with her last night!" He looked confused but she knew he was faking it. As far as she knew, he was just another filthy, lying cheater.
The storm clouds were quickly approaching and her friends were in the living room waiting for her.
"Sweetie, you did the right thing!" Said her friend Beth.
"She's right honey," said Sarah, her younger sister, "he doesn't deserve you!"
"You're better off without him, he is not good enough for you! And I really never liked him anyways! " Her father, the widower of her loving mother. "And if your mother were here, I'm sure she would agree with me!"
Mary threw herself on the couch sobbing the way she did when she lost her mother.
"That's not what I want to hear!" She mumbled through her tears, "I still love him, and I don't want to believe it but there is nothing to say that he's telling the truth!"
