Another World

2.The Woman

          Denika's point of view
The power went out and now I can't read what Nolan wrote on the note. "I better take your leave then" George says.

He hugs me and starts towards the window. "Bye Geo."

"Bye Denny."

As he leaves I notice something at the corner of my eye. I turn around to see a big swirl of colours twisting and moving into each other (mainly blue green and purple). Worst of all it's right in front of my door so I can't get out. "Geo."I say in a barely audible whisper. "Yeah" He turns around and his eyes go straight away to the swirl of colours.

Both our mouths are hanging open. In any way is a big swirl of colours that appear in front of your door normal.

"What the heck is that." George says.

"It's a big swirl of colours that just appeared in front of my door." I say in awe.

The next thing that happens is unbelievable. A beautiful woman steps out of the swirl of colours. She has feet but she floats in the air, her plain white dress flows behind her, her long wavy hair is silky brown and she has the lightest touch of makeup. Our mouths finally close. She smiles and says something.

"The Portal takes you to a place far beyond your imagination.
When you enter you are not dead nor alive.
Not many have returned once they have went in.
You are to find your way out of the place right away you have no time to rest or wait.
If you don't make it out in time you will be trapped in forever.
So make your choice quickly. in or out."

Her smile turns into something wicked, her eyes turn white and her nails grow long and sharp. She slowly advances towards us. I step back until I hit the wall. So does George and he almost falls out of the window but he gains balance again.

The woman comes closer and we both go to different sides of my room and stay there. The Woman looks at me then to George, she then starts walking/floating towards him and I start freaking out because first of all she looks evil and second of all she could end up killing him.

I run over to to the woman and push her away from George. But my hands go through her and basically freeze. I fall backwards and land on my back, my hands are numb, but I can feel the insides freezing up. It's paining real bad and I want to scream but not a sound comes out from my mouth in fact it doesn't even open. The most I am able to do is look up and see that the woman is facing me. She slowly proceeds towards me until she is only a metre away from me. I try my best to get up but I just can't move.

Then something unexpected happens, George run towards me and picks me up in his arms and runs for the portal thing. The woman trails behind us her mouth opens wide showing the whole inside of her covered in pointed teeth. She is just centimetres away from us when I feel a sensation of pain and comfort, but I also realize that I'm not with George anymore. Then everything goes black.
