Chapter 5

Taes POV

Jungkook and I headed into the cafeteria and we walked over to a table with a few people at it.

"Hey Kook, where ya been? You disappeared in third period. You didnt miss anything important by the way." The orange haired guy said with a smile. He seems nice I thought.

"Whos that?" The guy with mint green hair asked. He looked like a nice person, kinda has that idgaf personality, but he looks like he really cares about Jungkook and the other guy.

"Guys, this is Taehyung. Hes my mate." The orange haired guy grinned and the mint haired guy gave a soft smile too.

"Wait! Is he the guy you were telling me about? The one from the clothing store?" Orange hair asked. Jungkook nodded and then, he looked at me and smiled. I smiled back.

"Tae baby, this is Hoseok and this is Yoongi. These are the only people in the world that I completely trust." Then he turned to me and said, "Is it okay if I tell them? They've never betrayed my trust and they will keep our secret. I swear to you." I gave a slight nod and he smiled as he turned back towards them.

"Theres something else I need to tell you guys though and I need you to not freak out. Follow me outside really quick." Oh no...Jungkook what if they blabber about us? They both got up and we all walked out of the cafeteria to the boys restroom and Jungkook checked the stall before he told them.

"Why the hell are we in the bathroom?" Yoongi said.

"Because, what I have to tell you is very serious and saying it in a crowded lunchroom where people are nosy as fuck is NOT where this needed to be said."

"Okay, what did you need to tell us?" Hoseok asked. Jungkook looked at me once more and I felt myself nod.

"Tae is an angel." The bathroom was quiet for what felt like forever.

"P-please dont tell anybody..." I heard myself say.

"Why would we tell anybody Tae?" Hoseok asked. I looked up at him confused.

"We wouldn't want to ruin Jungkook's happiness. He hasn't been truly happy in so long." Hoseok said.

"I've never seen him look at anybody the way he looks at you." Yoongi responded.

"R-really..?" Jungkook stepped in front of me and brought his hand to my cheek and looked me directly in the eyes.

"Really." He said. I smiled and he kissed my lips gently.

"Also, theres one more thing guys. Somebody else knows about Tae and me and according to Tae, this person already knew about us before we knew. I disappeared in third period because I felt that something was wrong and I needed to find him. He was out in the field crying his eyes out because of this person and I want to find him because he hurt Taehyung and when I find out who he is, I'll beat his sorry ass." Jungkook said. I could hear how angry he was, and it made me feel safe because he wants to protect me.

"What did he do to you Tae?" Hoseok asked. I felt the tears well up in my eyes at remembering what happened. I had actually forgot about the pain until now and it still hurt really bad. I hung my head as I gripped the hem of my shirt and raised it to just underneath my ribs. I looked back up and Jungkook looked even more angry.

"They're getting darker." Jungkook said through gritted teeth. He took a step towards me and placed his hand on my tummy like before and gently rubbed it. "I will find him, and I will make him pay. He will regret ever coming to this school when I'm done with him. I will protect you baby. I swear." He said as he looked at me, his gaze was intense but he was still gentle with me and I could truly tell he meant it.
