Later,

Sooyoung arrives first "Dannyeowosibnida (I arrived home) and sees her grandfather preparing the truck. Taehyung's grandfather walks towards him. The two were busy placing the crops to their truck when they notice a teenage girl standing near the road.

"Oh Sooyounga! Good timing you're here, change your clothes now because we will go to town" he commanded, dropping a box of cabbage into the cargo bed.

"Oh were you not with Taehyung?" the other grandpa asked, preparing the tonneau to cover the loads.

"He's maybe on his way too harabbeoji (grandpa)" she answered politely.

Sooner, they saw Taehyung stops behind Sooyoung.

"Oh he's there!" both old men exclaimed. Their grandmothers walks towards them bringing baskets of vegetables. Sooyoung reach them to help carrying those.

"Thank you Sooyoung" the old women said.

Her fluffy body built manifests swaying while walking. Taehyung just look at her.

"Where are we going by the way grandma? Taehyung asked.

"In town, today is the festival right? We'll just deliver these and we will stroll afterwards, isn't it exciting" his grandpa explained

"Yes it is!" he said in a cheerless voice and glanced at Sooyoung.

"Hyung I heard they have street parade there, isn't it cool?" Jung Seok, Taehyung's younger brother, said.

" I guess so" he replied and went into their house to change clothes and so does Sooyoung.

Later, they arrived in town already. They deliver the goods first and went to the plaza where they watched the parade. Both of their siblings are so happy. They are overwhelmed to see different performances and costumes. But not Sooyoung and Taehyung, they're still silent and obviously avoiding each other.

After that, they went to a restaurant owned by a family friend. They have there dinner there still silence are between these two. Then, they went to nearby amusement park where the kids are enjoying themselves playing.

However, Taehyung's grandmother noticed it so she approached him when they were just two. "Did you two fight?" she asked placing her hand on her teenage grandson. Taehyung remains silent.

"I see! What made you argue?" she interrogates more.

"Sooyoung became so different, I can't understand her anymore" he replied, looking at Sooyoung from afar.

"Why do you say so?" she looks at Taehyung.

"She became more secretive and her mood changes always" complained by him. His grandma smiles at him, she understand what is going in now.

"You know what Taehyung, she didn't change because she doesn't want to be your friend, both of you are growing already but in different way" she explained

"Different way?" he's curious.

"Aha! You'll be a man someday and she'll be lady, there are lot of changes that are happening in our body when we grow old like your voice deepens and girls will have their magic day, and because of that magic day, ladies became irritated and our emotions are changing" she elaborated.

Taehyung nods saying he understand it already. He was guilty for ditching his bestfriend awhile ago so he decided to approach her.

Sooyoung is still in pain so she sit at the truck's cargo bed. Taehyung spotted her alone and found it's a nice timing to talk to her. He bought an ice cream first.

Sooyoung is guarding her lower abdomen when a hand holding an ice cream appears on her sight. She trace the hand to found it is Taehyung's.

"Take it!" he offers. Sooyoung with a hesitant grabs it then. Taehyung jump up to the truck. His bestfriend is still silent. So he initiate a talk.

"Did you enjoy the parade?"

She nods and carefully open the ice cream. Taehyung took it and open it for her, still he receives no word, even a thank you.

"Are you not going to thank me?"

"For what?"

"Ohhh finally you talk" he teased. Sooyoung pouted and quickly swift her head to her playing dongsaengs.

"Sooyounga sorry awhile ago" he apologized but not looking at her.

"Me too, I'm sorry" her soft voice said.

"I bought the ice cream because I understand it now" he explained

"Understand what?"

"Your magic day" he said that suddenly changes his bestfriend's facial expression.

"Gwaenchanha (It's okay) Grandma said all the ladies, experience it" he winks. And both laugh.

Three years later, Taehyung is now high school and Sooyoung just graduated from Middle School.

Sooyoung, she's not chubby as she was on her childhood days and you can see her as a beautiful young lady, was sleeping in a bus when a she woke up from her ringtone. But before she scan her phone, she sees a flyers on her lap.

She checks to see who place it and when nowhere to find. She answers her phone and hears a deep voice scolding her from the other line.

"Sooyounga where are you? You have to be here now the exam will start in a moment"

"Omona! I'm near already Oppa" she said and scurries to went off from the bus. As soon as she got off she saw a now tall and good-looking guy, waiting her outside a school of 'Korean National Art High School'.

He drags him and run to a the faculty room. "Oppa the way you hold me is kind of hurting me already". Taehyung paused and looked back to her "Yah Sooyounga you don't have a right to complain, I was absent in my class today for you take the entrace exam" he said and continue dragging her.

When they arrived, "Good morning Sir, Park Soo Young is now here" he greeted a man with eyeglasses.

'Must be his teacher or the principal' she thought.

"Okay, so you have 2 tests and those the written test and a talent test" the man explained.

Sooyoung nodded "Okay Sir". They proceed to the office where she took the exam, Taehyung was waiting outside. After half an hour, Sooyoung went out from the room with papers on her hand.

The teacher came to get the papers, she is the instructed to proceed in the arts room to show her talent.

There are three teachers awaits her inside, Taehyung sneak out from the window to see his friend's performance.

"So what is your talent" a woman in her early 30's asked. Sooyoung spotted the piano, "I'll sing Ma'am" she replied politely then sit near the piano. She chose to sing "One dream" by Boa. The teachers were amazed at her voice, though it's slightly unstable but her timbre says there's a huge room for her improvement.

Taehyung was also amazed because he has never heard his bestfriend singing solemnly, and that moment surprised him.

Her presentation ended earning a collection of claps from her judges.

"That's wonderful Sooyoung, you have a beautiful voice" a teacher commented.

"And even rapping" the other teacher seconded.

"Thank you Ma'am" she replied smiling.

Then the teacher, whom they met awhile ago, hand the judges some papers. They checked it before they speak.

"And you're a good student, your marks are incredibly high in your entrance exam" another teacher praised.

"You may start enrolling Sooyounga, Congratulations" they greeted.

Sooner, all of them went out the room where Taehyung is waiting.

"Omona! Sooyounga I didn't know you can sing, that's a miracle" he teased

Sooyoung rolled her eyes "You're really annoying".

Her family threw her a simple celebration that she passed the entrance exam.

"Congratulations Sooyounga" Taehyung's mother greeted.

"Thank you Imu (Aunt)" she replied with a smile.

"Imu ( referring to Sooyoung's mother) Did you know that Sooyoung got literal high scores on her exam?" Taehyung bragged

"Really? I want to see your score Sooyounga" her mother requested

"Sure Eomma" she quickly checks her bag to get her results. There, she found also the flyer. She unfold it and look at it once again.
'Global Audition?" in her thought, but she was distracted by her Mom's call.

"Sooyounga?"

"Ne I'm coming" she took the papers and packed her back pack.
