We had pizza dates at least once a month.
We usually had them at my house.
We would order the same pizza's from the same place every time.
I would get Meat Feast, and she would get Veggie Supreme, with chips and cheese sticks for sides.
I would get a film set up whilst we waiting.
I would go down and pay for it when it arrived.
The film never got watched, we'd just eat and talk and laugh.
It was just background noise to what was really important, each other.
I loved our pizza dates because we could sit in joggers and hoodies or our underwear, and she didn't wear makeup or straighten her hair.
