"She never knows when it's raining,
She only knows when it's cold.
She's always saying how she hates it, how,
Her story sounds so old.
She packed her clothes in her suitcase,
Then put that case in her car.
She says she's gotta get so far gone, oh, so far gone
That she don't even care how far.
Where did you go when you knew you didn't know me?
And you never wanted to figure me out.
I didn't know, I never even saw it comin',
I'll wait all my life..." one of my favourite songs blasted out from my loudspeakers.
It's raining at the moment, the weather I like the most because it always mean hot chocolates and cozy sweaters. But my lazy hormones always kick in on rainy days like these. Which means I'll be too lazy to bother about dressing well.
I donned on my mint coloured fuzzy sweater and tucked it into my dark blue highwaist jeans. I did my usual make up routine; dabbed on concealer under my eyes, powdered my face, lined my eye with my black eyeliner and flicked it lightly at the end to have a slight cat-eye look and put on my pink lip tint. I didn't shower in perfume though, just like what I told myself I'll do today, but I did spray quite a lot more than usual.
Minutes later, I heard a continuous honking of a car outside. I looked at the clock and it's just 7:55am.
"What the hell? He's gonna wake my parents up with his honking!" I muttered under my breath as I quickly put on my black boots.
I grabbed my school handbag and looked at myself on the mirror one last time as I quickly brushed my hands down my long hair, before leaving my room. I rushed down the stairs but stopped in my tracks when I saw Franco and Caleb having a conversation in the living room. Something is seriously wrong with this kid. Why is he always awake this early?
"Vroooooom! The car monster is coming after you!" Franco taunted playfully as he slowly shoved Caleb's car towards him before tickling him on the sofa.
Caleb laughed, trying to get away from Franco's tickles. I smiled at the sight, thinking that if I have an older brother, Caleb would be really close to him.
"Alright, that's enough. I'm going to be late for school if we don't get going now," I said interrupting their little play.
Franco looked at me longer than he should have but eventually got back to his senses when he suddenly got up and went out to his car. He didn't even say goodmorning or anything.
"I'm going to tell mommy that you have a boyfriend," Caleb drawled.
Ugh no way. Last time Victor came over to our house, Caleb told mom that he's my boyfriend. And she lectured me about how it's alright to have one but sex is still not allowed or how anyone with dicks can take advantage of you so that I should be careful of them... Lets just say it was extremely awkward.
"No. You will not," I stated, narrowing my eyes at him.
"And what are you gonna do about it?" he asked mischieviously.
Franco honked his car from outside again. This guy is one impatient dude.
"You can go take 3 of my chocolate bars from my secret stash on my second drawer of my study table," I grumbled, giving up. "But only 3, young mister!"
