The home was red brick with dark green moss and red rose vines crawling up the front. It was so beautiful with large open bay windows and a white chipped door. A large golden knocker hung inches over the small peephole. It was full of delicate details and very rare. I jammed my hands in my Jean short's pocket and fished around for the heavy golden key. I felt the heavy brass object clutched in-between my knuckles and dug it out. I excitedly rushed up the stone pathway and onto the wrap-around porch. Quickly unlocking the door, I slowly pushed it open and peeped in.
Luckily, it was furnished and cleaned to perfection. All I had to do was move my clothes, dishes and toiletries. I decided to let Ashton move the heavy boxes when he arrive in a minute. The floor when you walked in was hardwood and new, it smelt freshest and lemony like they'd used lemon scented wood cleaner. There was a large painting of a Child with pigtails and her... mother. It was a serious painting and the pair looked of great importance.
I smoothed my hand over the creamy light brown wall paint and observed in interest. The parlor was spacious with a large black sofa and an all black love seat. It was beautiful and clean with leathery texture. Through a doorway, there was a small dining room that connected with the kitchen. A square table with wooden brown chairs sat in the middle of the floor, along with a China cabinet against the wall.
There was a bump in the house, my heart jumped into my throat with violent, rapid beats. I spin on my heels to see my boyfriend's smiling green eyes shining into mine as he walked through the front door. He had two large boxes in his hand and struggled inside the house.
He sat the boxes in the living room floor and went back outside to that more boxes in, after a few trips, he was finished with our little belongings and our living room was essentially cluttered.
"I love this place, Ash." I say looking up at Ashton's pink lips.
I give him a Peck as he grabs my waist and hug me, scowering the parlor of boxes.
"I do too, but we have to unpack and get settled." He says sternly letting me go.
I slightly pout for a minute but then began to obey and put away our things. I unpacked the kitchen things first, placing pots pans and mittens in their places and tightying up what I messed up while sorting dishes.
"Well would you lookit there." Ashton muttered. "Wes come here."
At the sound of my name I sit down the pan and follow his voice. I take the large stairs by twos quickly as he called after me. I found him in a small room painted lilac purple.
I smiled brightly when I saw the charcoal grey baby crib and colorful mobile hanging on top. The Carpet was furry and creme with a puzzle themed rug.
"Oh babe look! It's a nursery." I cooed.
"It's nice isn't It?" He asked.
I nodded and peered around the small circular room.
"Too bad we wouldn't have any need for it." I sigh sadly.
Ashton nodded. Children was something we both wanted but we were both very young.
"Want to go see our bedroom?" He asks in a Chippy tone.
I smiled happily at the way his masculine jaw line was shaped and the way his tone muscles showed through his fitted white tee. I was happy here with Ashton Wyre.
I followed him through the home peeking into many guest rooms and even a small girl room. That particular room wasn't as modern as the others and wasn't very appealing. Ashton agreed that this week go to the closets office Max or home depot and fix up the thing first day we get time.
Entering the large room, I was immediately awed. The bed was large with a wooden head and footboard. The king size matress was dressed in a royal blue comforter and golden silk pillow cases. The rug was large and a golden color and the curtains where blue and golden.
I giggle watching Ashton slide out of his shoes and hop into the bed, slightly ruffling the covers underneath him. I slid off my flats too and dived into the bed next to my beaming boyfriend.
He pecked me on the forehead and wrapped his arms around my body. We snuggled close together and soon snores took over. The move was so tiring and intense, I didn't realize I had fell asleep until the next morning when the sun barged in through the huge windows.
I was in bed alone and the house was freezing. I rushed to a box labeled "Wes' Crap" and took out a outfit for my shower. Ashton must've left for work by now and the heating must've went out because I was shivering all the while rushing about.
Navigating the bathroom off the corner of my room I go in. It was aweing. The large white circular tub in the corner intrigued me most, a golden tap to spit out water sat perched off the wall. There was a separate rectangular prism as a shower room and a plush couch in the center with two sinks.
Glancing from the shower to the tub, I decided upon using the shower. I stripped out of my outfit and turned the water on scalding hot. I stepped inside the shower and let the water cascade down my freezing body.
I heard a small thud that shook my from my thoughts and back into the steamy shower. I nervously turned off the water and opened the door.
My heart dropped for the second time since living in my home as my eyes meet with two pale feet.
