Roman sat watchfully in the bank, waiting for his turn. Many of the other men there were reading the papers. Headline: "FINANCIAL CRISIS; LABOR AND REAL ESTATE PRICES COLLAPSE". The sound of typewriters were echoing off the walls of the building when he heard a deep chuckle. Roman his head to the right, but didn't see anything. He then leaned over to find a pair of very short legs.
"The goat prices go up, so the pork belly go down." He heard the same voice mumble.
Suddenly the door the main bank's office opened to stepped a frustrated looking woman.
"Joan, we're leaving," The woman said, taking the arm of a man.
"Huh?" They asked.
"The bank only wants to lend money to people with money." She had a scowl on her face.
The man dropped to the ground and Roman finally got a good look at the man and he was surprised. Walking past him, was a man with a slight stubble beard, brown eyes, and had a orange beanie. But what really stuck out to him was that they were at least 4′ 2″.
Joan, the short man that could have mistaken for a child, if not for their voice, "What are you looking at Mr. Head-In-The-Clouds?" Joan shot at him when they caught Roman staring.
Roman didn't reply as they walked away.
"Mr. Barnum." The banker called up and Roman stood up immediately.

"The venture you've propose is risky and...some what bizarre." The banker said, uncertainty in his voice.
"It's a good bet, is what it is sir," Roman answered back, "people don't want to admit it, but they're fascinated with the exotic and the mccobb. It's why we stare at it."
The banker didn't look amused or interested, "The bank is going to need substantial collateral."
"Oh, of course," Roman stumbled a bit, "I, uh, wouldn't suggest otherwise."
He pulled out a piece of paper from pocket and said, "The deed entitled to my entry faturalu of trading vessels."
Banker took the piece of paper nodded slightly, seeing it a acceptable. But what the banker didn't know was that what he took as collateral was Roman's former employer's lost ships.

"Why would a bank loan us 10,000 dollars?" Valerie asked with surprisement.
The two of them and their children walking through the town where there were rows of vendors of different kinds.
"Cause we put up collateral." Roman said simply.
Valerie face turned confuse, "But dear, we don't have collateral."
"Sure we do. In the South China Seas." Roman answered back, not looking her in the eyes.
"In the South China Seas?" Valerie has skepticism in her voice.
"Deep in the South China Seas." Roman added on.
"And what did we buy with this loan?"
Just up ahead, the children were farther away from the two adults, so they were the first to see what their father did buy.
"Barnum's American Museum of Curiosity." Rose spoke out loud.
Alex turned to his father, filled with excitement, "What kind of museum is it?"

CHOP! That was the sound the guillotine made when beheading Marie Antoinette, the wax figure.
