Chapter 1: An Average Day

It was an average school day here in Arizona. The day started off with my annoying alarm clock going off and my lazy arm slapping it to mute it. I then would get in the warm shower and then get dressed. Today i decided to wear a white crop top with an infinity sign printed on it. Underneath i then put on a pair of denim skinny jeans and black vans. I didn’t look the "best" as you could say, but no one was "interested" in me so i hadn't cared how i looked. I then grabbed my pink brush a had the brush smoothly go through my long blonde hair.  After that i applied some mascara to my short, black lashes. I quickly left my room and grabbed a strawberry pop tart from the cabinet and kissed both of my parents goodbye. "See you after school Tori", said my mom. "Ok, love you", I said back replying to my mother. I opened my front door and walked past my drive way. I was heading towards the bus stop.

*5 minutes later*

I was then at the bus stop. No one really came here at my stop, but a girl and a boy were waiting beside me. I recognized them and they both were in 9th grade, just like me. My yellow school bus then came to a stop and had the doors open up wide. I walked on and sat near the back of the bus. Most of the kids sat in the front, but i preferred to be alone. It was a new day and new school day.

*Later at school*

The first bell was about to ring and my first class was Math. Oh how i hated math so much. I barely passed that class in junior high and I was surprised i wasn’t placed in the lower leveled math. Before the bell rung , I  went and sat at the exact spot i had always sat in. It was a spot where no one typically went. The bell had finally rung and i dragged my feet across the floor all the way to my math class.

Chapter 2: A New Student

I sat down in my seat which was near the back. Everyone sharpened their pencils and unpacked everything the needed. After everyone was done the tardy bell had rung and our school principal had walked in with a teenage girl. She had super long brunette hair that had been curled perfectly to the tip. She was wearing a dark purple knee length dress with a black bow tied at her waist while holding a leather black handbag. She looked tall, but I think it was the reason that she was wearing shiny black heals. She definitely looked liked one of those “popular” girls that the boys had always drooled over. The principal had announced that she was a new student and she would have math with us. Just like every time a new student is brought into a new classroom, every student is told to introduce their self and tell a little bit about themselves. So, when it was my turn I stood up and spoke. “Hi, my name is Victoria, but you can call me Tori. Um, I like to hang out with my friends and go to the mall. I had lied a little because I didn’t want to sound lame. Once everyone had said their little speech, the new student, which was named Chloe, sat behind me. Of course the “popular” girl had to in the entire classroom sit behind me, a lame, friendless little girl. Well, class went by and everyone wanted to talk to Chloe. I wanted to try to be “cool” so I gave it a shot and tried to talk to Chloe. I turned around and smiled at her. I didn’t know what to say so I just decided to compliment her so I said, “I really love the way you did you hair.” She looked at me and stared without any words coming out. I then continued on complimenting her. I thought I was on a roll with this talk so I asked if she wanted to be friends and possibly hanging out. She never responded so I just sat there like a log. She then finally opened her mouth and replied by saying, “Listen Tori or whatever your name is, I don’t want you to ever get in my way. You and I are never going to be what you call friends. I’m the new student and I don’t want anyone to ruin that so just stop.” I was completely shocked that she literally said that right in front of my face. I slowly turned around and was afraid to ever turn back again. Math class was finally done and I headed over to my second class, history. I didn’t look at anyone because I was just too terrified that I would lay my eyes upon Chloe. I actually thought I was going to have a friend, but now I had thought differently.
