The abundance of the paper gold that everyone treasures
Has been laid to the flickering cities
Were the ladies dances at night with elegance

Holds the paper gold that covers the sight of the one who must see the most.
Builds the wall of denial that sees the illusion of beauty
Drowned to the false glory
And hides the painful reality

Behind the city lights
Were the darkness meets the luminescence of the the fake truth
Where the sea of black seas and the smell of the stinky smoky mountains
The haven of the children who supposed to feel the glory of the city
The world see the sun and indulge themselves in the clear waters.
While behind the skyscraper the sun burns the hope to get out of the grasp of poverty
The people fight for their lives to see the dawn with food in their  hands

Behind the city lights was the world that doesn't shine but needs the light..
