There she was again, like every Tuesday, sitting at the high chairs near the end of the counter. Her laptop and notebook open as she studied, I'm guessing studied? My eyes trailed over her, her toned back facing me the only thing I could see was her exposed skin from her croptop and her flowing blonde locks.
Two months ago she started coming here, at first randomly in the week then slowly started a routine of coming here on Tuesdays at around maybe three or four. I didn't even know her name yet but I knew exactly how she looked like and was excited to works shifts on Tuesdays.
Biting my lip, I focused on her back, velvety gold skin. Like a piece of sunshine in a cloudy sky, her gray croptop, it shined through my day and all I could do was submit and stare at it. My thoughts fought through my gaze, She must think I'm a stalker... I need to stop staring. I mindlessly pulled my hand up to bite my thumb, releasing my lip from the pain.
Ignoring the pain now in my thumb I continued to think, Okay I'm going to look away in three, two, one!.... Didn't work, I tried. Okay one more time, one! Two! Thr- I was interrupted by my manager, Jasmyn, storming into my thoughts and pulling me out. "Jess?" I quickly spun around and put my thumb to my side. "Uhm, y-yes?" I cursed in my thoughts at my stutter.
No one really knew when I started to stutter but I just kind of had it, it only came out when I was being shy or nervous. Which is all the time so I stuttered most of the time.
Looking down at Jasmyn, I gave her a nervous smile. Jasmyn was a short, unusually pale, eccentric girl. Her cute rounded face complimented her curved and fluffy jaw, she had dark hazel eyes that matched her chestnut hair that ended right above her shoulders. Her nose was small and came to a rounded point that showed off her pink and small lips. With her short figure, she was the definition of adorable but she was scary and had a fierce attitude. She was the only reason I got a job here at the bakery, being best friends with Jane, my older sister, she offered me a job. I took it and now we're here.

"Do you mind covering the counter, I have to head out for an hour." I internally sighed at her words, covering the counter was the worst. There was rude costumers, sleazy guys, a bad angle to look at the blond beauty in the corner, and I had to speak to people. Brushing a strand of hair behind my ear I put on a fake smile and said, "Of course!" Giving me a cute smile she nodded and walked away.
Regaining myself, I lazily walked to the counter. It was a slow day today, not much people came in and I had only served two customers in the last twenty minutes. I was near to death bored so I did what I'd usually do, look at the high chair in the corner to take a peak of the blond beauty. To my disappointment, my eyes found an empty seat. Her laptop and notebook still there but she was nowhere to be found. I groaned, Of course, she left you must have stared at her twenty times since she got here! I started softly hitting my head on the top of the higher counter while thinking. Where she would have gone though, she left her stuff. She probably went to the bathroom or she could've gotten kidnapped. Wait! Why am I worrying I don't even know her I need to stop this, it's getting unhealthy.
She could just be outside talking on the phone or she could be with her boyfriend making o-"I wouldn't do that, you might start bleeding." A gentle, soft voice absorbed me out of my thoughts. I was in the middle of a groan when I looked up to see who the voice belonged to. I immediately stopped when I saw who it was, Blonde Beauty. Her round face with a defined, sharp jaw that came into her somewhat pointed chin. My eyes scanned the face I observed so much, narrow straightforward cheekbones that excited her jawline. Looking up to her blue, mistakable as grey, eyes with speckles sky blue in them. Skimming over her rounded nose to her pink, plump, luscious, gloss covered lips. She was speaking but my brain was to focused on her lips to listen. My eyes wandered lower to her curvy body that had everything in the right places, she stood with confidence and attention.
Her voice slowly made its way back into my conscious mind, "Did you hear me?" She said. I cleared my throat and stood up straight, "I said are you okay?" She repeated her words to me. I shyly nodded and rubbed where I had been hitting my head, "I'm fine, th-thanks."
I mentally slapped my self for stuttering
Giggling and biting her lip with my eyes glued to her lips she spoke
"Whatever you say..."
She trailed off. Forcing my eyes away from her lips, I tried to look her in the eyes but my confidence faded and I stared at the ground. Speaking just above a whisper I said, "Can I get you anything?" Raising my hand to my lips, I bit on my thumb, I heard her chuckle and bit down harder. She must be laughing at me, I thought, she must think I'm weird. This probably the last time I speak to her.. As the seconds passed by, feeling like days, I was most likely drawing blood by how hard I was biting my thumb.
I felt her hand grab my wrist and I gasped at the sudden contact, she pulled my hand towards her making me lean into her. "Don't do that, you'll hurt yourself," I looked up and my eyes lingered on her smile, "which is something you sure do a lot." She chuckled to herself and I tried to produce a sound but only a whimper came out. My eyes were glued to her smile, the way her pearly teeth captured the light from the room and shined it in my face. I felt myself blush as I noticed she saw me staring, looking back down at the floor and withdrawing my hand from her grasp. Immediately missing the contact, only to have her grasp my chin and push my face to face her.
I saw her hesitate before speaking, "How long until your break?" My eyes widened as I took in what she said, my brain scrambling to think of the situations of what would happen if I told her. Then my body acted before I could think.
"Ten minutes."
"Cool, meet me at my chair when it stars!" And the blonde Beauty walked away.
