The music banged against the door. Mia walked in and looked around, taking in the sweet smelling air. Vanilla, it always has smelled so nice. They took a seat at the bar and just gazed in awe at the drinks. "What can I do for ya?" A nice guy walked up. Woah... He has the most beautiful makeup on right now! "H-hi! Yes, I'd like just a sprite." Why am I stammering? Mia thought. They tried to hide their face flushed with red. Just try and tune out the thought of him, enjoy the music at hand. They pulled the flannel over the top part of their face, trying to hide the bare and red face they have. The man came back with Mia's drink. "Here you go, on the house."

Mia looked at the tender in shock. "Who bought me this drink?" The man smirked and replied, "I did." Then walked away to tend to the others. Mia blushed as they played with the straw. The purple light faded to red as the music became slower. They do slow dances here? What is this... high school? Everyone at the bar table stood up, took someone, and went off dancing. Although, Mia remained sitting. The tender came back. "Small talk is not my forte, but I want to make an exception with you." They gazed at the man, almost in awe, but tried to hide it. "I-I wanted to make an exception for you as well." Mia spoke. Their heart fluttered a bit.

The clock hit one a.m. and Mia decided that it was way past the time they should've left. Getting up from the stool the bartender walked over. "Leaving?" He asked. Mia nodded their head and started to walk away. "I hope to see you again soon." Mia started to feel really warm again as they walked out of the club. The other planet casted a purple-ish red tone on the city. It is like a city that never sleeps.
