Everything was new to me. I ran out of the swamp into woods.

I enjoyed the view of nature as I ran and the fresh aromas in the air. I had never seen anything like this.

The sun rised and the trees were bright green and it never seemed to stop.

I was exhausted. I looked back but I could no longer see the castle.

My stomach started to rumble and my throat was dry.

Blood. I needed blood.

I don't think I thought this through.

I will not turn back now.

Suddenly I heard a soft noise. I could hear something.

I look around and in the distance I could see a deer in the distance drinking water from a little pond.

The only reason I knew what it was , because I had seen it in the many story books my servants had read to me as a young child.

This smell was different and I had never smelled this before. It was so strong.

I jumped on a tree and slowly creeped my way to it. It smelled weird but I was really thirsty and I needed blood.

I jumped down on it and hopped on it causing it to jump and begin running but I didn't know what to do.

Back at the castle I always drank from the fresh blood of humans that the servants brought in for me served in goblets. Everything was always given to me.

I had no experience in killing things what so ever.

The deer ran and ran but I still didn't know what to do. I had never bitten in skin because it sounded so disgusting.

I then gripped my hands around the neck unsurely and squeezed it together so tight that it didn't take long for the deer to collapse to the ground.

I guess I squeezed it too hard and it's neck snapped open and there was a large gash.

The smell of blood was different but I hated how messy killing was.

I was a princess, the one who never got messy when it came to drinking blood and now I had to bite into this new creature. If the humans could eat this, I should be able to drink it's blood.

I felt like I was going to puke, the smell of death was disgusting.

Human blood was a good smell but this blood was really really not what I preferred.

I sank my teeth into the deers neck and I drank it with disgust as it was bitter compared to the sweet human blood I was used to, but this was enough to quench my thirst away.

My nightgown was covered in blood.

I gave up trying to drink the deer so I got up and started running again without stopping.

In about an hour, the woods changed.

It was darker.

I felt an eery feeling. I felt like I was not suppose to be there.

I ignored the feeling as I had never felt this before and I was far away from my castle.

I shook it off as paranoia.

Suddenly I heard thoughts. They were not my own. Someone else's thoughts.

I stopped running.

"Cole, there is something in our territory"

I'm in territory? Who's land was this? Why could I hear their thoughts? Would they return me if they found me?

"Get the pack Lee and surround the intruder" said another voice that I assume was Cole's.

"Another rogue perhaps?" Another voice said.

"hey roguey rogugey! We are coming for you if you can hear us!" The voice mocked.

Where the hell am I?

I was so scared and decided I needed to stop and hide. I jumped on a tree.

Suddenly I heard pairs of running footsteps.

There was a long pause.

"This smell, It's not a wolf."

Wolf?

I could smell something strong.

What was that smell.

My hands slipped off the trunk and the smell made me stumble and I fell off the tree and I could feel my leg twist as it hit the ground. I screamed as I felt an unvarying pain.

I quickly looked around and I could see eyes.

Not just one or two pair of eyes. 6, 7, No. Ten pairs of brown eyes all looking at me.

I bared my teeth trying not to scream and I tried getting up and running away but since I was in pain, I couldn't move at all.

Just touching my leg hurt, and I let out another scream of agony.

I couldn't hear anyone's thoughts anymore.

Suddenly in view I could see something come out of the bushes.

A large black Wolf.

Suddenly I could hear its thoughts.

"Is it Human?"

At that moment I knew was it was.

Werewolf.

The biggest enemy of the vampire.

But weren't they just a myth?

I was truly scared. Would they kill me? I tried to get up and then I saw the wolf step back.

Then the wolf growled at me and the other wolves stepped out and growled along with them.

They are going to kill me.

I hissed at them showing my teeth's

As long as it meant not marrying Andrew

How long did I think I was going to last out here.

I then felt something hit my shoulder and my vision become blurry and everything turned black.
