Seren's Troubles(DISCONTINUED)

Out Past Curfew?

i was finally through my first month at Hogwarts. and i loved it! it was so fun being a witch! why don't we get to go sooner? i was totally missing out. 

anyway i was tired after a long day at school, so i wobbled a pitiful little penguin walk up the stairs to Gryffindor tower. When i got to the top of the steps i looked at the picture of the fat lady. i groaned realizing i had forgotten the password. i walked up to her and asked if i could go in. 

"of course! "she said. i was relieved. "what's the password?"

"uuuuuuugh i forgot" she gave me a disappointed look and shook her head.

i walked AAAAAALL the way back down the steps. when i got to the bottom, i thought i might ask a professor wandering the halls at night. i wandered and wandered, until i realized i'm out past curfew!! i ran back towards the tower when i knew i was lost. i went up steps, down steps, under steps, through hallways, down more steps, and ended up near Slytherin's dungeons. i'm not supposed to be down here i thought. 

"what are you doing down here Seren?", i turned around slowly expecting to see an angry Prefect, but when i looked i saw a face smirking at me. Draco i thought. 

"oh nothing. just roaming around at night when i'm not supposed to be. bein' a rebel"

Draco laughed" because your such a rebel. it seems your friend Maria would be more likely to do that"

"oh yeah. i saw you talking to her at breakfast a few weeks ago." i smirked remembering how stiff Maria looked to be making a friend.

"oh yes." he said, slightly smiling. "i haven't talked with her since then. i should probably do that."

"yes, you should. you don't happen to know the password for Gryffindor tower do you?", i said suddenly recalling that we were both out after curfew.

"no but i can let you into the Slytherin dorms. you could have a sleepover with Maria."

"well.... if it's with Maria. i guess."

so Draco took me into the Slytherin dorms and told me to go up the right steps. "Maria's door is the second one, i think." i thanked him and got halfway up the steps, but turned around "thanks Draco." i said looking at him with a sweet smile. he blushed that same light pink blush he did on the train, when i first met him.

"hurry now miss Creek. we don't want you to get in trouble." he winked at me and walked up the boys' steps. i continued on my perilous journey to Maria's cave of darkness.

Maria's POV

i was sitting on my bed thinking about Neville and i's last study meeting in the library. that's when i heard a knock on my door. i was surprised but i stood up and opened it. when i looked i saw Seren! 

"what are you doing in the Slytherin dungeon at 10:27 at night?!" i whisper-yelled trying not to wake my slumbering roommate.

she smiled that silly smile of hers and said, "i forgot the Gryffindor password. so i wandered around for a while and ended up here."

"how did you get in?"

"Draco let me in."

i found my heart beating faster as i heard Draco's name. why was that happening?! the only time he's spoken to me was when we were sitting at breakfast together. he sits somewhere else now. "oh. cool" i found myself saying drowsily. but then i recalled myself unconsciously staring at his smoothed back hair in class, and his big blue eyes, and his smi- NO! i shook my head and rubbed the sleep from my eyes. "well, we should probably get some sleep."

"yeah. thanks for letting me crash here!"

"no prob" i said. we then drifted off to sleep; i on the floor curled up in a blanket, and Seren sleeping soundly in my goose-feather bed.

i decided as to make it up to all of you to make a few extra-long chapters that i work hard on. sorry again about disappearing for a while. :( love u all ma snekzzzzzz HISS HISS GUUURL <3 lol
