Dear world,
I'm not just like you. No one is 'just like' anyone. That doesn't mean we're not all equal. I'm a lesbian. Not just a lesbian, but a proud lesbian. No one deserves to have to hide who they are in fear of hate, and no one should be able to spread hate and get away with it. Though the world's progressing, there's still a lot of hatred; a lot of fear. The world still needs change, and if I have to put up with nasty people in order to help achieve equality, then so be it.
I want to be the change, and you should, too.
