Afternoon Headaches

*Haydens Pov*

After we finished riding on the tube for the last time, we were dripping wet from falling into the cold water. The warm sun beamed down on us and no matter how fast the boat went we could never lose track of it in the sky. After so much swimming and heat my head began to hurt, it felt like sharp needles poking into my temples. I laid a white towel over my face and tried to relax a little so the pain could relive itself. When we reached the docks the birds were chirping and by this point the pain was unbearable. We gathered into the car and headed back to the house, while the whole time I tried to make as little conversations as possible. We finally made it into the house and my swimsuit was about dry so when we walked into the house, I sat on the living room couch and waited to get medication for this headache. Johns mom handed me two little red pills and in one motion I swallowed both of time and a gulp of water. I made sure to keep drinking water because John's dad (Dale) thought that I probably got the headache because I didn't get enough water. As everyone gathered in the living room, Dale decided to switch to the weather channel because he remembered hearing something about a storm affecting my home state, Texas. This came as a surprise because I was suppose to go down there after Canada to see my grandma, my ticket actually leads me straight to Texas instead of LA. "What are we going to do if my plane cant take me down there because of the storm?" I ask Johnny's mom. "Me and your mom already talked and we decided that if your plane was delayed we will keep you with us until further notice, and your mom is already down there with your grandma and they are fine, but they have no power." This got me scared because anything could happen to them, I quickly tried to dial my mom, but her phone was dead. "Don't worry i'm sure she is fine" Johnny mom said to me as I was now trying to call my grandma, with the same result I got up and went upstairs to see what Johnny was doing. I heard the shower running and I saw his swimsuit and clothes on the floor. I ran over and grabbed Johnny's used dark red underwear and gave them a quick sniff. As I sit in my gaming chair, I see Lauren try open the bathroom door, before I could say anything I see her quickly slam it shut. "Oh Hayden is in there" I say to her laughing, then I see Hays hand reach through the crack of the door with a red hair spray bottle that I took from my sister.
