This is how it all started

New Skates

It was one shiny Sunday morning, the ice was starting to melt outside as Luis was staring out the window eating breakfast. Luis was very excited today because his dad that he hadn't seen for a long time was coming back from a business travel. Luis was a 15 year old boy that always was interested in hockey. His grandpa that passed away last year was a famous hockey player. Luis's grandpa said that Luis will inherit all of his hockey material and Luis made him a promise to become a famous hockey player just like him.

Later that day.........

As Luis was getting ready to go practice his hockey skating speed, he realized that his old pair of skates are ruined because of all the falling he does while he practices and that he had to buy new ones. He was sad and had nothing else to do but to go clean his room. He took all of his protections off and threw them on the floor and started cleaning his room. He  found some old clothes and decided to go put them in the attic (a place he never goes to).

(Luis went and opened the attic door)

He went up the stairs, each step he took made the wooden floor creek. He opened a box and put his old clothes inside. As he turned around to leave he saw in the far corner of the attic a closet. He was so intrigued by it for a reason. So he went ahead and open it. "Wooooooow" said Luis fascinated by what he saw inside the closet. He reached his hands and blew the dust away. He found all of his grandpa's jerseys and hokey sticks, but the only thing that catched his eye the most was his grandpa's pair of skates. He took the skates down stairs and went inside he bathroom and started cleaning them. "They are perfect" he said very excitedly.
