The Lake House

Cassie's POV

"Girls, we're here."

I hop out of the car, wanting to see the Lake House view. There's like another house beside ours but I think it empty because it looked dark and dried leaves everywhere. Maybe the owner dead or they just don't really care of that house anymore but why I care so much.

"Come on Cassie,let's go inside."Heather yells and motioned me to come In and see the house.

It's big and me and heather in the same room.I opened the window so fresh air can come through. The house beside us a few feet from ours. Not to mention a window was strait across mine.

All the more reason to hate this place..Ughh

I don't want when the owner of the house come home or just stop by or whatever snooping around and looking through my window! That's so weird and awkward.

The next morning, I woke up and the sun was shining limpidly, illuminating over this room.As the warm,breezy air hugged my delicate being a smile crept up on my face. I was wondering whether to have a stroll in lake or just hanging here on my soft perch.

I decide that I just gonna sleep back and dreaming about what If i at my hometown. Suddenly I hear my mom called me and that's mean I had to wake up and had no chance to sleep back.

"Cassie, please come down, we need to tell you something!" My mom yelled.I sighed as I struggled to get up, going downstairs.

"What is it mom?" I asked her while walked towards to kitchen to get breakfast.

"We need to leave now because there's a lot of works to do back there so you think you can handle all of this?" I nodded "Good, so I was inform that the neighbours will coming soon for a vacation and you might just wanna stay at house all time okay?"

why mom said that I have to stay when the neighbours are here. Aren't she the one that always introduce me to new people.

"But why?" I asked her wanting the answer. "Just because, I want you to spend a lot at this house!" She finally said. I sighed and escort her to the front door.

Mom and dad waved at us and they gone. I went upstairs and saw that Heather and Kate isn't awake yet. So I go toward the bathroom to take shower.

When I finished, I put on high waisted denim shorts and a tanktop that said 'Summer!' then I wear my black vans and put some lip balm and eyeliner. I straighten my hair. That's all. I mean there's no guy to flirt with so I guess this is enough for me.

I ran downstairs and saw Heather and Kate watching the television. I silently walked to them and stood there. Then I yell "OH GOD,THERE'S FIRE IN THE HOUSE." They all jump out from the couch and just scream "WHERE?" I was laughing so hard and they just realized that I got them.

"Ha.ha.ha very funny one Cass" Heather said annoyingly.

I just can't stop laugh until a weird noise come from outside. I look in the window just want to see what it is.

There's a car and a boy come out of the car and looked like he was just my age. But I really can't see his face, anyways he was looking at the house like he wasn't been there for a thousand years.

Suddenly he looked at me. I was staring at him and he let a smile. It was awkward, so I shut the curtain.

Kate was asking what at the outside, I just kept thinking about that boy. It seem like I've known him.

'Ding Dong'

My doorbell rang. I wasn't sure to open it or just ignore it.

But...
