Sometimes a change is better even if it completly changes who you were. There are incidences that affect us, affect our behaviour and yes some are so traumatic that in the end it leaves you hollow and empty, it just immunes you to feelings, all feelings other than pain and those nightmares that haunt you every night those voices that make your skin crawl and those faces that keep flashing in your mind that gives you chills. He always wasn't this cold hearted monster there was once a person who kept him grounded filled his days with love and happiness leaving absolutely no voids to fill. However, life is cruel nothing is stable and nor was the love he had was forever one night, one night changed it all left him all alone snatched away his only love and snatched away his family and left him in despair. He din't feel anything other than pain from that night he promised he won't get attached so why now was he feeling these foreign things about this boy that was sprawled out on the bed with his heart shaped lips open just a little and drool falling down his chin wrapped up in a blanket looking so small and innocent. He knew these feelings he could faintly remember them having those for a person he has now forgotten but why, why this boy who he doesn't even knows but he knew whatever this was is just a phase he doesn't feel and he liked to keep it that way. Moving his pink lips a little and slowly opening his eyes immediately shutting them as he got blinded by the lights after squinting them and adjusting them to the sunlight he looked around carefully getting up. Looking up to only meet a pair of light blue eyes almost all white with just a hint of blue was not what he was expecting and most importantly not the coldness in those blank eyes. "Get ready and come down for breakfast" said the deep and rather cold voice and Justin would not be surprised if the man's body was also cold cause he was just that cold of person. Nodding his head slowly he made his way inside the bathroom and jumped in the shower the hot water running down his body was relaxing and for that moment he forgot everything but that soon ended as he followed the loud voices that led him to kitchen filled with almost 7 to 8 people chatting away as they munched on there breakfast. As he entered in and made himself visible everything came to halt everyone looking at him like he was a freaking alien or something it was so silent that you could here a pin drop it was making him uncomfortable having so many eyes trained on him. Noting his uneasiness Alex interrupted with revealing his identity to them "Justin,.. guys this is Justin and he'll be staying here with us so treat him properly and stop staring at him and making this baby uncomfortable" he scolded towards the end like a mom scolding her children moving the spatula in hand for emphasis. He smiled as a memory of his mother ran through his mind but shivered from the gaze that was piercing through him and burning holes inside his head turning to find the source he was not surprised to meet a pair of blue eyes sitting at the head of the table. He sat next to Jason as Alex filled a plate and placed it in front of him and from the amount of food that was on it he was sure if he even ate all day wouldn't finish it. Arguing with Alex is not a good thing that he learnt at that moment when he argued for lessening the amount of food in his plate. Savouring the pancakes and waffles with his head down he was aware about the stares of the people in the room but what made him jump was when a hand was placed on his thighs circling them in a soothing manner that made him calm under the gaze of everyone looking up he followed the hand that led him to Jason he was surprised, he never thought of the man actually to think about someone else other than him and maybe it wrong to judge a book by its cover but he was certainly not interested to get to know him as he just wanted to leave as soon as possible. With the way Justin's body relaxed at his touch gave him a funny feeling like he conquered something which was starnge and even stranger was his body reacting to Justin how his hand had without control landed on his thighs when he sensed his uncomfortableness (i don't know if that is even a word). It was normal for Jason to feel empty but Justin was making him feel like something in him was getting filled like something was patching up which was ridiculous cause it hadn't been completely one day that the boy was here and it was just his stupid body. Breakfast was good as he got to know everyone present on the table and even became close to some at first maybe they looked intriguing but they are all little kids at heart with a lot of pouting and whining they were now settled in the living room with the movie notebook on cause lets just face it they are all hopeless romantics. Some sprawled out on the floor Alex on his left cuddled up to him Justin on his right and the rest of the monkeys all latched onto Alex and Justin was how they were seated munching on their popcorn as they watched the movie with such focus Jason couldn't help but feel at home with these bunch of idiots and yes its true he may not show it but he cares for them they are family they were there for him and Alex when they were all alone on the streets.
