Chapter 1

Kellyn's POV

"Kellyn! Good morning!" Exclaimed someone.

"Morning" I replied casually.

"Hey, have you heard about the new student that is gonna be transferred here?" The boy asked me.

"Yeah, Ms. April told us a few weeks ago right?" I replied to the boy.

"Ah, yeah, I must have forgotten" The boy said as he slapped his forehead.

"You never change, Keith" I said to the boy as I chuckled a bit.

Not long after that, Ms. April comes in the class.

"Sorry to keep you waiting!" Ms. April said as she walked through the classroom and goes in front of the class.

"Good morning class!" Greeted Ms. April.

"GOOD MORNING" Exclaimed the students, except for me.

"As I mentioned a few weeks ago, we will have a new member of our class," Ms. April said.

I can see the excitement looks of the students.

"Is it a boy or is it a girl?" Asked a male student.

"Is the new student cute or look like a celebrity?" Asked a female student.

"Okay, that's enough! You can see it for yourself. Here's our new latest classmate! Come on in!" Ms. April said as if she is gesturing the new student to come in.

As the door opened, it reveals that the new student is a girl! Well, to be honest, she looked kinda cute and pretty... Wait, hold on, what the heck am I thinking? I'm not interested in love and suddenly I liked her? No way! I will try to shake off this feeling.

As the new student stands in front of the class, she introduced herself.

"Hello everyone, my name is Kate Hitomi. Nice to meet you!" The new student namely Kate said as she bowed her head.

"Okay, our new friend is named Kate. Let's make her feel welcome. I understand she scored quite high on her exam..." Ms. April trailed off as she looked at Keith, "Keith, why the big grin? Well, anyways, we had better get you seated somewhere... Kate, you may have the seat next to Keith" Ms. April continues as we looked at Kate who walks towards her seat.

"Okay, that will do. Okay, from now on, you are my students. Let's not fail to become Rangers, Operators, and Mechanics!" Ms. April said to all of us.

"YEAH!" Everyone exclaimed excitingly while I said it with monotone.

After that, Ms. April explains about the Capture Styler to Kate then went out of the classroom.

Everyone began to walk to Kate while I just sit while looking at the window. As everyone was talking, I heard somebody saying my name so I looked at the person and I saw Kate looking at me too.

Kate POV

Everyone comes to me and ask a bunch of questions.

"Hey, new kid, how long did you capture that Pikachu? Maybe an hour, I guess?" Asked Keith beside me.

"Keith's just a show off, you'd better ignore him" A girl with puffy blonde hair said to me.

"I did it like 3.15 seconds" I answered Keith.

Almost everybody seems shocked by my answer.

"Ummm... what?" I said.

"THAT'S AWFULLY FAST!" Keith exclaimed.

"The record was just like Hajime's" Said a girl right next to Rhythmi as we all look at the boy she was talking about as he looked back at me.

I smiled at him.
