Harry's POV

"Daddy!" My 5 year-old son said tugging on my jeans.

"Hey Buddy!" I picked him up into my arms.

"Daddy, I missed you!"

I've been gone away for a few months with Liam. Work had me to go to Japan. Liam and I had to go, and he missed his dear wife and new born child. Yes, Liam and Selena did get married. Their baby girl, Ariana, is very cute.

It's funny how every time I look at their child, I see my son's Mother. It's been 5 years since Ariana's passing and Johnny's been getting curious. I'd get worried every time he'd have play dates and his play mate would always go to their Mother.

I feel bad not telling him. But sooner, he'll realize how brave his Mother was. How she stood up for what she thought was best. As for Zayn, he's been arrested for 7 criminal charges. I won't see him forever. But I'll always see Ariana.

"I missed you so much!" I told my son.

"Can we go to Uncle Niall's house?" He asked with Ariana's puppy eyes.

"Let's call him." I pulled out my phone and began to dial Niall's number.

"Hello?" A little boy's voice went through the line.

"Is Uncle Niall there?" Johnny asked.

"Johnny?" Johnny gasped.

"Christian!" Johnny screamed through the phone to Niall's son.

"Daddy!" Christian yelled.

"Yeah!" The Irish said.

"Johnny's on the phone!" I heard a series of shuffling feet.

"Hello?" Niall said.

"UNCLE NIALL!" My son managed to yell, loudly.

"Hey Johnny my boy. Where's Dad?"

"Right here. Daddy say hi." He told me.

"Hey Nialler!" I said.

"Harry! It's good to hear your voice again. How was Japan?"

"Amazing. My son wanted to ask you something." I looked at Johnny and he nodded.

"And what is that?"

"Can I come over?" The line wen cold for a bit as I heard the 'hmm' noise coming from Niall.

"Of course, when?" I checked my watch.

"15 minutes?" I said.

"Perfect, I'll see you guys."

"See you in a little bit Uncle Niall!"

"I'll see you guys soon." The line died off.

I put Johnny down as he ran off. I walked around a bit trying to get the sense of being home in my veins. I heard Johnny's yips of joy. Then they suddenly stopped. I heard a 'Daddy' from his small voice. I walked to where the voice was coming from and found him on the couch.

"Daddy?"

"What is it?"

"Who's that?" He held up a picture.

I took the picture from his hands and observed it. It was the day Ariana gave birth to my son. She was so happy that day. I looked at how young we both were. How different, yet somehow good, my life was without her. She made me stronger. Realizing that I didn't have her made me strive to do better, so I can.

"That's Mommy." I said brushing my thumb over the glass that was covering the image.

"I have a Mommy?" Johnny gasped.

"Yeah."

"Where is she?" Here we go.

I bent down to his height and looked into his brown eyes. All I saw was my wife. He smiled at me, as his dimples began to peep through on both sides of his mouth. His dark brown curls ruffled on the top of his head. His soft skin showed a reflection of Ariana. I put both hands on his shoulder and let out a breathe.

"Mommy was in an accident." He gasped like before.

"How? When? Why?" I could his eyes glisten.

"Long time ago." He plunged his body against mine.

"I wish I could see her." He cried into my shoulder.

"I know Buddy." I pulled him to the couch.

"But look, Mommy was so brave. She was nice and honest. And always helpful." He smiled again.

"And you know what?" His eyes lit up.

"What?"

"You're just like her."

He hugged me again. But this time it was a father-son kinda hug. One of those hugs where it's so precious and perfect. Johnny pulled away and smiled a deep deep dimple smile.

"You'll be Mommy's soldier?" He nodded his head.

"High five!" I held my hand out as he high-fived it.

My son ran off to get his toys as I took another look at the picture. I smiled as I saw her holding her son in her arms. It's like the picture was moving, going with the motions that happened that day. I smiled as I saw myself kiss her and have a family hug. I walked to the fire place and placed the picture on top. I rubbed my thumb over the glass once more and kissed it.

"I'll see you soon love."

I walked to the door and called for Johnny. I heard tiny little legs running to me. He jumped into my arms as we walked out the door. We hopped to the car. I placed him in his car seat and put his seat belt on. I quickly got in my seat and reversed out of the drive way and began to drive.

As I was driving I turned the radio on. 'Little Things' by Ed Sheeran came on. I smiled and turned it up. I could already hear Ariana singing along with her angelic voice. I firmed my grip on the steering wheel with a smile.

I remember how just before, I thought we'd let go of each other. My memory took me back to our history. To what we went through, together. I smiled at the thought.

"Don't let go Harry." I could hear her say.

That's the thing I wasn't going to let go. Neither did she.
