Mackenzie and Josh have been together for 3 years. Josh helps Mackenzie walk and she shows him another way to see life. Mackenzie is blind, but she uses her other senses to hear, taste, smell, and touch. Josh helps her walk by gently moving her to one side or the other. Josh, however, can only go out at night. He's a vampire and is affected by sunlight. If he is hit by the sun, he suffers major brain damage, causing him to feed on human blood.
It is the first day of October, and Josh has a surprise for Mackenzie.
Josh: Mackenzie?
Mack: Yes?
Josh: Will you be my night bride?
Mack: Omg, of course!
It's the day of the wedding and Mackenzie and Josh are married. At the reception, they eat, dance, and catch up with relatives. After four hours, Mackenzie and Josh go to thier new home because it's almost morning.
Nine months later, the couple has two daughters named Anna and Katelyn. Anna is human and her sister is a vampire. The stays inside during the day with black curtains and go out at night. Mackenzie has everything she wanted and so does Josh. With the two girls and being married, they found love in the shadows.
