Tap.Tap.
Tap, tap, tap.
"What!" I groaned.
"You need to wake up. We have arrived at our destination, and before you ask, we are at Florida, St. Petersburg," Kayla answered.
"Oh, right!" I said with a hint of sadness in my voice.
I get up while grabbing my bags out of the holders at the top, and start to follow Mia, who was the last person heading out besides me.
Once we got outside of the airport, I guess Coach Mikel had someone collect our things because everybody's belongings from the dorm we stayed at and what we had at the hotel in Canada were all next to Coach Mikel's husband, Larry.
Everyone was silent because we all knew what was going to happen next. Saying our goodbyes' to each other. Until a ringing sound interrupted the silence. It was Reese's phone.
"Um.... Excuse me," Reese said. We all let her go answer the phone till she started responding back to the person she was talking to.
"Mom, I will be at the car in like seven to ten minutes. Just be patient. Please!" Reese commanded nicely.
Most of us giggled at how she directed her mother into being patient, but after that we all went back into silence. Before I was about to say goodbye while handing our team's picture of getting the gold, Lila, beat me to the point of handing something to everyone.
She started off with Blake, who was right next to her then Pika, Jess, Cassidy, Fiona, and so on to everybody. When she was going around to everyone, I saw that she was wrapping an item on our wrists.
It was a bracelet.
How thoughtful of her!
After she got to every single person I looked at my wrist. It said 'Team now and the future' on a small gold bar, with a gold chain wrapping your wrist.
"The bracelet is for everyone to remember each other, more of us being a team-like family!" Lila announced proudly. I smiled at it.
Kayla, then started to hand out small gift bags. When I got mine I opened it, and what I saw immediately tore my heart into small pieces. It was my favorite animal, an Armadillo.
"Oh my God! I could just scream my heart out!" I whispered, but shouted as well. Earning amusing laughs from everyone.
"I know. I could too," Reese said, "I have to go. Can't wait to come back next season with all of you guys!"
"Ah, wait, Reese!" I somewhat screeched.
In response, she hummed back while stopping, "Here! I have pictures for everybody of our team," I declared while continuing to deliver everyone the picture of our team getting our gold medal in Canada.
I said thank you to all of the other gifts that were already handed out or were getting the present, including me getting thank you's from everyone else.
Once we were all done, the whole team said goodbye's to each other, and went on their separate ways. As well as me.
After I took the taxi to the St. Petersburg subway, and got on. I sat down on the chair behind me, and fell asleep. The only reason why I fell asleep is because I know it will take a long ride to Washington, Seattle, and I don't need to worry about switching trains either.

"Miss. Miss. Miss, please wake up!"
I sighed, stretching my arms in the process of not wanting to get up, but needing to as well.
Why so much work?
Who knows is the response, but no one may know why.
I opened my eyes to first see a young child in front of me, more like a young girl, though. About seven or eight years old. I'm not really sure.
"Excuse me, miss? Can my daughter please have the seat, and is this your stop?" the lady-stranger points to the sign with the stop on it, Washington, Seattle subway station.
"Ugh... yes! Yes it is, and yes your daughter can have this seat," I partially blurted out.
Thank you, Mom and Dad. For giving me the gene of being loud with some things.
Only three minutes left.
"I'm sorry, but I have to go. Maybe I will see you two again, and thank you for waking me," I stated, running quickly out the train doors.
I head up the stairs with my luggage, and grab my phone out of my pocket to dial my little brother, Anthony.
After a few pickups the phone finally picks up, "Hello.... Avery?"
"Yo!" I wait for a reply, but it just started getting awkward, "Okay, so I just got back. I'm standing outside of the subway station, and I was wondering if you could pick me up... Please?"
No answer.
"You do have your driver's license don't you?"
"Um.... About that.... No. I don't, I sort of got it taken away by driving your car."
I hate him.
I flipping hate him right now. I mean yes he is my brother, but sometimes he can do stupid, no, idiotic things.
"Okay, I'm not going to get mad. Nope!" I corresponded to myself, "I need you to ask Dad to give you the keys back so that you can come get me."
"Got it," he replied. Then automatically hung up on me.
Wow.
I have such a nice brother nowadays. He was so kind before I left for National's. Guess it can't be helped!
Not even ten minutes later a car, more like a Chevy Truck, comes zooming towards the curb I'm sitting at, then stops, and just sits there.
Beep! Beep!
Ouch, that hurt my eardrums. The window starts rolling down....
"That face!" I point to him dying of laughter. He, my Dad, has a face of 'are you seriously not getting in' look towards me. Which always and will forever and ever get me in a fit of laughing out loud. Once I hopped into the Chevy, the truck suddenly restarted back up and sped off.
"Took you long enough! Your brother is getting really impatient, bossy, and staying out late. I need you to put sense into him immediately!" Dad commanded.
"Aye! Aye! Sir," I fake saluted.
You see, my dad and I have a father 'n daughter relationship. My brother, Anthony, well he has the relations between my mother and uncle. At least we still get along with everyone is the good thing.
From rambling on about Anthony and me, I didn't realize we arrived home until my mother, Eliza Lye, ran right out the house door, shattered the passenger door open, and collided me with a mom bear hug.
"Hey Mom..... I'm back!"
