Recap:

"Hey, Tack, seems like you haven't changed. I wanted to show you this." He says as he some how multiplies into three people...

--------

"How did you..."  Tack is at a total loss for words, so am I.  I was recording ever since we came in.  I snap a picture also, leaving the flash off.

"I multiplied."  He said in a flat tone, only one said it, he shrugged.  Did I forget to mention Max doesn't know of my existence yet?  Well, he's about to figure it out.

"What's happening Tack?"  I pretended that I couldn't see.  He took the phone out of his pocket and I wrote the words on the screen, 'say you would call me back and press the screen as if you were hanging up."  He did I said.

"Who was that, Tack?"  He was about to speak whenever his phone rang, it was me again, but I put his phone on speaker.

"TACK, WHY DID YOU HANG UP ON ME-"  He pressed the screen again and shoved the phone in his pocket, still on.  I muted myself and snickered silently.

"I got a new friend that won't shut up."  Tack said with a bit of an annoyed expression.  He's good at doing this.

"Never mind about that, I have a question, will you ever tell anyone about this?"  He looked at Tack with the most sad eyes, I almost wanted to "awe" him.

"Why would I?  I'm to lazy to betray anyone."  I knew that was a fact, not an opinion.  Even though he jogs every weekend, I never told you it was me who suggested it with some bribery.  Max's eyes shone like the sun.

"Thank you so much!  I also have another thing to ask of you, though."  He seemed to have gotten excited about this.

"What is it?"  Tack said a bit reluctantly.

"Can you help me... Become a villain?"  He said this a bit more frightened and scared of his approach.

"What do I get out of this?"  He said, narrowing his eyes.  I also was a bit curious to his reaction.

"Technology and money.  That's even if this doesn't work out.  I could also move into your apartment and pay for your rent to not look suspicious."  He said this as he picked up his overly dramatic excitement.  If he gets technology, I could help way better than I could before.  I use to get so bored for not being able to do much.

"When do I star-"

"I can take you to my apartment right now to pack up and sign away the fact that I no longer live there."  He seems so excited that he cut off Tack mid-sentence.  "I also know a place where we can begin our testing and such.  I need to know how the city runs and such."

"I'll just go back and get some of my stuff ready for the transfer to the place.  See you later."  He starts walking away from the warehouse which allows me to stop recording.  I send a backup to the main computer for now but in a secret folder.  I exit the app and just browse around the phone.  These next thirty minutes are going to end me.

. . .

I survived the thirty minutes somehow.  I breathed a sigh of relief whenever we got into the apartment and everything.  He set down his backpack beside his bed and went to the computer.  I transferred over from his phone to the computer.  I created a room from one of the previous games that we made so I don't have to be in a completely dark or white page.  It has a sofa, fireplace, rug, and a few other things.

"Tick, why did you pretend to call me?"  I shrugged.  I heard a knocking at the door, I disappeared into the cameras.

"Tack, it's your friend Max."  He groaned a bit and went to go see him.  He opened the door to a lot of boxes.  Thankfully Tack got a two bedroom apartment or he wouldn't have room for any of this stuff.  I wonder what I should do whenever he's here?  Should I hide or should I interact with him?  Only time will tell... and my curiosity.

"Thank you for allowing me to be your roommate."

"By the way, you're staying in that room."  He points to the guest bedroom.  I got bored so I went back to his main computer to continue working on the game.  Max heaves his boxes into the room with a nod.  I turn my attention to how he's packing things.  He probably didn't bring his bed because he thought that we had one.  Thankfully we did.  Tack moves into his own bedroom and into his chair.  I display these words on the screen, 'introduce him to me.'  He furrows his brows and types 'why.'  'To not cause any confusion later, duh.'  He sighs and goes to get him.  I watch the cameras.

"I wanna show you something."  He leads his friend into his room and to the computer.  "Come on out, Tick."

"Hello, what do you need?"  I show up on screen like a possible AI would.  Max gives a look of confusion.

"Now I know who that voice belongs to, now I also know why my lie detection didn't go off whenever you said that."  He looks like he was evaluating this situation.  I wave.

"Welcome, new user, what do you want to be known as?"  I tilt my head with my hands behind my back and with a straight, perfect posture.

"She's really polite, I never thought you could program an AI like this."  He turns to the screen.  "Call me Max."

"User registered, welcome, Max.  Is there something you need help with?  I have access to the cameras, footage, and more.  If you ever need help, just say, 'hey, tick.'"  A word bubble appeared beside me and said the two words that were needed to get my attention.  It disappeared whenever I ended the conversation on my part.

"Um... Hey, Tick.  Show me the cameras."  I did a processing face and said this.

"Access denied, username Tack is needed.  Voice not registered under Tack.  One voice for each user is permitted."  I shook my head as I talked.

"Let me do it.  Hey, Tick.  Show me the cameras."  Tack said.

"Do you want to continue with this task, Tack?"  I tilted my head.

"Yes."  He replied.

"Accessing cameras..."  I pull out a folder and dig through it.
