Hey guys! I just wanted to thank you quickly, if you are taking the time to read my new story! I recently decided to give up on trying to write full stories since I usually fail at gaining any readers, but at around 3am this morning I came up with quite a nice plot for a new one, and decided I'd give it a go. This story is infact a Harry Styles fan fiction, but it's not your adverage corny love story. Also I've added a photo of the main characters in the sidebar! Anyway, I hope you enjoy! feedback would be appreciated muchly! :-)

The cool evening breeze nipped at what skin wasn’t covered by my short sleeved cardigan, as I walked as fast as my feet would take me towards the police station that evening. The station wasn’t far off the mall at all, really, around a ten minute walk or so I’d say, that’s if you walked as quick as myself. I’d bid my friend farewell after our long afternoon at the mall and decided it’d be much easier to take the walk to the station and hitch a ride back home off my dad, rather than waste the money on bus fare.
My dad was one of the Greenville’s, being my hometown by the way, local police department’s officers. He had always been very dedicated to his job, he liked to think of it as his baby, obviously, considering he paid more time over at the station rather than at home with his real children. Or now I could say, child. Like I said, he’d always spent the majority of his time there in the first place, but after Karl’s death you’d think his office was his home instead of his actual house.
I headed through the main entrance of the police station and whizzed my way through reception, after checking up on my dad so often nowadays the rest of the officers were used to me coming by, so the pale women who sat behind the desk would simply smile to let me know it was ok to pass. I knocked once on his office door before I heard the familiar voice simply telling me to enter.
My dad was middle aged, going on to his late forties anyway. He had thick, jet black hair, which was turning more of a grey colour rather than black day by day, unlike my mum who’s hair was a rather bright blonde and stayed that way for which seemed like eternities. He had a little facial hair, more of the scruffy type after not shaving for a good few days. But in a way, it kinda suited him.
“Ah, Jenna. There you are.” I could of sworn for once his face lit up a little at the sight of my arrival, as he leaned against the desk both hands pressed against the grey stubble now forming on his chin. “Nice trip to the mall? I see you decided to skip taking the bus ride home.”
“Yeah, just another regular shopping trip actually, where I didn’t actually buy anything, as per usual. Also, why waste your and mums money on bus fare when you’re capable of driving me.” I now sniggered in response, watching as he took his waterproof jacket off the back of his chair and began to slip it on.
He let out a sarcastic laugh, nodding his head slightly in amusement, but after that the room fell silent up until we left.
As we headed back into reception dad made friendly chitchat with the pale women, who giggled like a child before telling him a final good night. But it was the teenage boy who was now seated on a nearby chair across the room who caught my own attention. He wasn’t here when I arrived; however, he definitely seemed familiar. There wasn’t much of him you could make out just by glancing, but there was no way I would stand and stare at him so obviously, so glance was all I did. After all it wasn’t his face that I recognised, it was his thick, and brunette curls which sat on the top of his head.
“Good night, Jenna.” The pale women who I wasn’t even aware knew my name, let alone had a name, now suddenly called over, loud enough for only myself to hear as I was pulled out of my sudden trance.
