Chapter 1

An instant mistake. That's what she called it. Lisa had told me that I shouldn't have taken the job offer and she was right. It was a mistake. Too much for someone like me. But I took it anyways. And now here I am. Mike Schmitt. Standing in front of the building that had haunted me for years. Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. A name that would forever have a place in his soul as the place that breaks him inside, mentally. The building looked about as run down as ever. The sign on top of the building read "Freddy Fazbear's Pizza" with a image of Freddy himself smiling down. The grin almost scared me. How did kids put up with this freak. A chill suddenly came across my skin. Do not insult him on his home turf, I told myself. The checkered paint on the building just seemed fake. The wall seemed like it could fall at any given time. With just the right amount of force.. I stepped on the cracked concrete, up to the doors. Here goes everything. I pushed in the keys to the building. Turning the lock, and unlocking the door successfully, I walked in.
