I haven't updated this book in a while. The main reason for that is because I've been taking some time to take care of myself. When I first started this book I was in a very bad place in my life. I was struggling with many mental illnesses and this book was kind of like an outlet for me. I truly believe that I am in a much better state now, even though I still have my bad days. I am not 100% okay but I am doing a lot better now than when I published the first page of this book. For this reason I don't think I will be continuing this book. All these quotes trigger bad memories of times in my life. I feel that not continuing with these quotes will allow me a fresh start to start focusing on my mental health because above all that's what's most important. I know many of you are struggling and you've probably heard this before but it honestly does get better. If I do decide to continue this book it will have more positive messages as my other quotes and poems were really negative and triggering and I was oblivious to what I was doing. I'm sorry if I triggered any of you, this book was a form of expression for me. As I said before I grew a lot and gained a lot of knowledge and maturity since when I consistently updated this book. My mental health is a roller coaster but everyday I work to recover, even when I don't want to. You will thank yourself in the end, so please go have some water or tea, eat something please, and do anything that relaxes you. You are all so precious and deserve the world. It's so hard right now but I promise this is just a chapter of your life. Make sure you are focusing on your mental health this year, one thing I learned is that being selfish once in a while isn't a bad thing. Treat yourself lovelies. I feel that people have been silencing mental illnesses for too long and if you can find anyone you trust, talk to them. Or talk to me my dms are always open.
