Chapter 3

*Rias' POV*

A few days have passed since that demonstration that (Y/n) made. He truly has experience things even I can't do. From the way he moves, from the way he talks, and even from the way he fights is quite unique. He truly is the one I love since we're kids. Though I am suspicious about it, too. While I see him sometimes blushing and trying to be the gentleman he is, I don't see him remember me. I also met two of his friends as well, Seria and Lugina, but he also said he is going to bring one more friend that helped him through his adventures as a summoner.

And now... I'm starting to realize what's going to happen when a certain someone came to play.

My "used to be" fiance and I'm starting to think my answer is going to be told right in front of me.

The Peerage and I just got back from getting the two of my new chess pieces. Unfortunately, Issei didn't get a familiar, but Asia did get a dragon.

We were back in the ORC room, but I see a familiar woman in a maid outfit. "Ah, Rias. Welcome back," Grayfia said. "Grayfia? What are you doing here," I asked her. "I believe you should already know it," She answered, "But, I doubt it's going to be that again."

I started to feel tense all of the sudden as well as the others, except Issei and Asia, who are confused at this.

"I see..." I started to say with a sigh. "Umm... What's going on," Issei started to ask. "I'll explain in a moment," I said to the two as I told them my story. However, I was interrupted by a magic circle appearing and there appears... him.

Riser Phenex.

"Hello there, Rias," He started to say.

I sighed at this and started to explain to the two who he is, seeing their mixed reactions.

"Exactly," Riser said, "Though I would say I come and take you to the underworld for our marriage, I still preventing myself from doing it, because of him."

I know what he meant while the others don't know, except Grayfia. Him as in (Y/n). I didn't tell anyone about (Y/n) nor I can confess about (Y/n). He's the only reason why I'm not in this marriage they wanted to do. He's the one that has a friendly rivalry with Riser and won to protect me in my name. Hell, even when Riser lost, he would have been angry about it, but... he didn't. He accepted it.

"Him," Issei said, confused about this, "Who is the man you're talking about, Rias?" "I'll explain later when the time is right," I said to them before looking at Riser, "So, if it's not the marriage, then what do you want from me?"

"Well," Riser said, "The only reason I came here is through the rating game. Sirzechs thinks that you need to test out yourself and see where are you at so that we can see if you strong enough to fight in the rating games or you need more training. Maybe it's enough to do something that we couldn't do to protect him again."

This is where Akeno had to explain to Issei what is the Rating game. We both came to an agreement, however...

"Tell, me Rias," Riser said, "Who is exactly in your peerage?"

"Excuse me?"

"What I mean is this, Rias."

As he said that, another magic circle appeared on the floor, revealing his full harem. As I already know, Issei would be excited about this, yet also sad.
