chapter 2: My birthday.

''morning sweetheart'' my mum said as i slipped on the shoes alice gave me yesterday that went with the dress she gave me. She walked to my side and then hugged me.''happy birthday'' she said as she kissed my head.''thank-you'' I walked down the stairs and heard a chorus of ''happy birthday'' from my family ''thank-you'' I said again.

''Renesmee'' I heard Alice say.''yes'' '' your presents are in here'' Alice said back to me''OK I'll be in, in a minute'' ''OK'' is all i heard her say.After all the hugs and kisses i got from my family I went to see Alice. And there she was next to the table with just three presents on it i wondered why there was only three when there was more then three people in my family.''OK then go and open them''Alice said from behind me''Ok''i said and then walked over to the table to open my presents.

First i opend the long box with the bow on it. i slipped the lid off and saw inside that there was a necklace with a charm that had the pattern that was tattooed on Jacobs arm. I smiled to myself and said ''thank-you'' to Jacob''its ok'' is all he said and then hugged me. Me and jacob had a strange relationship. In fact i loved him but he was something like 20 and i was 10 so i knew it was never going to happen but a girl can dream."I made it myself " he said to me." Really!Your really good at carving" I said smilling at him."I know, I know"jake said with a grin going from ear to ear."here's one from me"my mum pointed to the little lilac box with white lace on top.I opened the box within it there was a tiny ring inside ,it was beautiful with a turquoise stone instead of a diamond."it's the ring I used to wear before I met your dad" my mum whispered into my ear."are you sure about this mom it looks really special."well it would be when it's 30 years old"I looked at the box again and jumped into my mums arms and said"thank you I love it".

The next present said from jasper. It was biggish I peeled back the wrapping paper and saw a gorgeous little ornament saying love comes from the heart I looked up at jasper with a tear in my eye and whispered to him"I love it"he just smiled.
